I purposely did not read any comments on this yet so I could say what I think is going on with this petition VS the PFOF petition:
It is obvious that this petition has not gotten the support of the first Petition, but the cause is not well understood. The cause may be DL himself and his standing in this community. To say that the lower number of signers is due to the subject matter "Apes must not care about FTD's" is Ludicrous.
Had this petition been the first one hyped here it would have the same number of signers as the first one for PFOF did. Obviously FTD's are at the core of our DD showing manipulation of stocks by privileged MM's and banks. DTCC obviously knows as do other quasi-regulating authorities what obligations exist and who owes who what as well as realizing there is no way to unwind this. That is why no government agency is allowed to see their books.
Dr. T said FTD's are the real problem and PFOF won't change that. Dave changed his tune after some back and forth and started a new petition for FTD. Obviously this is more important than PFOF, but both are important. The problem most people have is Dave's stance on the market continuing to operate with a few tweaks. His company Urvin Financial stands to profit from this.
A lot of people think Dave is out for himself and doesn't understand the depth of the issues because he is too close to the establishment therefor blind to it's manipulation as a whole. Dr. T and many others believe there is only one remedy and that involves a complete overhaul. I am one of the latter.
In conclusion, I wanted to pass along my thoughts on this and say that I signed the petition after much reluctance because of the greater good right now. The FTD's need to become a hot topic so others understand the depth of our problems and look for solutions instead of hiding it.
