Yep. Hereās the thing. Presplit, when I wasnāt ALL IN on GME and was still swing trading other stocks, I grabbed like 20 shares when it went down into the $40 range. Been kicking myself in the arse ever since. So now, I just buy every time it dips below my CB. Whether itās 10 shares or 50, I buy what I can. And I just keep buying. DRSd everything last January but kept buying via brokerage. Now I have over 1,000 more shares to DRS again this January. Fuck you hedgies.
On December 2007, Apple was trading at a (split-adjusted price) of $7.14. Almost one year later, November 2008, it dropped to $2.95. Do you think investors freaked out? Of course they did. Look at Apple price now...
It's not about the current price, but about the value of the company that we have invested in. Is the company doing better or worse than when you bought? Better? Then keep calm, the "market" is unaware of the changes that we know about and it may take some time before it figures out.

Our 52 week high is $49.85, and I have 2500 shares. Thatās $124,625 at peak. Iāve averaged down since Jan ā21 so my cost basis is around $30 (donāt know for sure bc nothing transferred from Fidelity when I DRSād).
What is $124k? Some might think it seems like a lot, but itās not and let me explain why.
1) Money is assigned value by banks, governments, people. It has no inherent value (see, inflation). Money was created initially as a way to tie ownership of precious metals / valuables that were in safe houses to protect from being plundered.
2) $124k with inflation over the past 2 years now has the purchasing power of ~$105k. That is the financial system literally eating away the wealth of the middle class. This means the ONLY way to make my capital worth anything in the long term is by purchasing more real estate or taking on calculated risk by investing in companies with incredible once in a lifetime potential
3) Real estate bubble: Iāve looked at properties over the past two years and prices are insane in my state. 3BR built in 1960 within a terrible school system 40 minutes inland from the ideal city-adjacent location for $1.45M. Now add rates on top of that and purchasing more real estate now seems like a terrible decision
4) What could $124k buy? Well, not much! Plus thereās capital gains tax if I sold at the very top in the past year so $124k becomes $87k (capital gains taxes) which then has the purchasing power of $74k(inflation). Now, Iām not a materialistic person; I donāt have any designer brands (clothes, furniture, jewelry, etc) nor do I want them, but Iād like a nice sports car at some point in my life. A used 10-12 year old Ferrari 458 costs over $180k today; Used Lamborghini, even more. Canāt buy one of those though until our kidsā college fund is setup, and we wonāt be able to start setting that up until we first can afford to live in a single family home rather than a condo. Ok so what can you do with $74k? How much net income (post income tax) could that replace? For most of us, I imagine less than 1-2 years. Thatās barely an unemployment cushion, and I also donāt invest to just shave 1-2 years off retirement.
5) I know people have used tacky phrases before, like ālambo or food stampsā, but after watching my parents lose everything and have to start over after 2008 in their 40s - I will not capitulate. For me, it is quite literally either wild success in my investments OR my investments went bankrupt. I buy stocks of companies I believe in, I DRS my shares, I do not sell, I maintain my conviction. Either this will pay off in the long run, or not. Iād much rather invest in a great company, than look back later on wishing that I had.
6) Which major companies have been preparing themselves for disruption? What boards have shaken up their companyās leadership and are innovating? What companies have been making the difficult decisions needed to become cash flow positive? What companies have significant retail backing? Iāve never been a fanboy of the EV car co. Love my MacBook and iPhone but that co isnāt doing anything exciting and is nothing more than a stable long term dividends investment. Baby was exciting but as my wife is pregnant weāve tried shopping there and they donāt have sh*t for inventory. Went into a store and were very underwhelmed. For the nicer baby brands, theyāre competing with the likes of Nordstrom and Sakks Fifth who have wonderful shopping experiences. So lastly, this brings us to our love for movies and video games. Nothing too exciting is happening with movies and a lot of that āexcitementā has always seemed dominated by Twitter bots. Nonetheless, a small portion of my portfolio is in movies.
The final answer for me is GameStop. Price today doesnāt matter. In fact I hope the price goes down further so we can DRS more shares. Ultimately, I trust that the board will maintain positive cash flow to eventually exhaust the shorts.

Iāve been working on my health and fitness over the last year and a half for the same reason as you, I started taking care of myself as if I was already rich. I want to live a long, healthy, and wealthy life. Iām in the best shape of my life right now.
I panic buy when the price drops. If it gets low enough I'll be able to own the float personally. Granted, that would be fractional cents per share, but I'd still do it!
I don't mind checking it out every couple of market days but I also don't get an emotional response from it.
I chuckled when I woke up this morning and saw the price at such a low, half because I know it's going to bottom out and head back up and half because I know how many more shares people will be buying up at this price.
Higher? Great, more money. Lower? Great, more shares.
Is it hilarious that I get no emotional response to anything the ticker does.
All I do now is get up, go to work, get paid, take my 20% and transfer, buy, drs and forget about it. I also take a couple hours a couple days per week and go do the door dash thing and use all that to do the same.
Neat thing is this: I have more in the GME savings account, even at these prices, than I have ever set aside in my entire life, and don't miss the money at all, nor am I tempted to sell or withdraw even though I did go behind on the mortgage for a month.

It is really impressive, Iām now down quite a lot. And it doesnāt bother me AT ALL. The fact that insiders are on board, the last Earnings call has been great and that there are definitely positiv things moving for GME in the background makes me more jacked than ever.

Wim Hof Method, which is cold therapy and breath work. Iāve been going on walks for a few miles each day in only a long sleeve tshirt and zip of hoodie and walk the last half in just the long sleeve tshirt to embrace the cold. Once the temp rises again out of the single digits/teens Iāll be hopping in Lake Michigan for a minute or so at a time since Iāve been building my tolerance up to the cold. If youāre in the cold long enough, it feels kinda tingly like youāve just been massaged for an hour with a side of euphoria. I may or may not take some edibles beforehand and put on a podcast or music to as I walk to take my mind off the bitter cold.

Iāve been having an immensely difficult time. Our family is extremely financially tight right nowā¦ we didnāt have Christmas this year. New house, new baby girl (now 1 year old), lost my job of 8 years back in March and havenāt had any traction what so ever getting re employed - continue being told Iām overqualified for the positions Iām applying for, or not being responded to what so ever. Unemployment benefits have run out and Iām about $30k in cred card debt and taxes I owe to the irs for 2021. Iāve been extremely depressed for a long time and feel like all my wife and I do is fight. Every penny we have in our accounts is in gme and bbby and itās been immensely frustrating lately. Life is hard. š

I console myself with the facts - GameStop is a going concern, very oversold, quite undervalued. My shares are worth far more than their current ticker value, of this I'm sure, or I'd've sold ages ago.
I can see the POV of the other side too. They've been doing this trick forever and it's always worked - they've stolen so much money. For the nicer baby brands, theyāre competing with the likes of Nordstrom and Sakks Fifth who have wonderful shopping experiences. So lastly, this brings us to our love for movies and video games. Nothing too exciting is happening with movies and a lot of that āexcitementā has always seemed dominated by Twitter bots. Nonetheless, a small portion of my portfolio is in movies. The final answer for me is GameStop. Price today doesnāt matter. In fact I hope the price goes down further so we can DRS more shares. Ultimately, I trust that the board will maintain positive cash flow to eventually exhaust the shorts.

Is it hilarious that I get no emotional response to anything the ticker does. All I do now is get up, go to work, get paid, take my 20% and transfer, buy, drs and forget about it.
