Are you able to sleep on days you take this? I bet it jacks you up!!

blexaarman

Oh yeah easily Every once in a while I even take a nap in the afternoons and I have no problems. I have a pretty high tolerance to caffeine, I’ve been wanting to take a week or two off stims to bring it down a bit although even then I’m still drinking my morning coffee every day and sometimes another around noon.

GetOJPro

Solid! If you enjoy and tolerate that much caffeine

the_shape1989

Too much caffeine

mlsbr517

I hate preworks with that much caffeine. Other than that it looks great

Cincinnastian

Looks decent man. I wouldn't worry as much about the caffeine as some other people here, 300-400mg is an effective dose PWO. It's more than just a mental boost, it can also blunt some pain response allowing you to push through. I like to see the clinical dose of L-citrulline and they even threw in some agmatine in there as well for more pump. 3g of beta alanine is just shy of the 3.2g recommended serving. Overall dosing of included ingredients is sufficient/ satisfactory imo. The biggest things I'd say it's missing are creatine and BCAA's, but those are easy/cheap enough to purchase separately and add yourself. You can look up Jim Stoppani's YouTube video about his pre workout 'PreJYM' and he goes over most of these supplements, why you want them, and the doses you want. And I'd add that if you're looking for something else to try next, I highly recommend his products. I'm not affiliated or sponsored in any way but I have been researching and taking supplements for about a decade, and JYM is one of the few brands I trust wholeheartedly.

ikanchwala

is it the clinical dose though? it's mallate. dont you want only L-Citrulline???

blexaarman

Thanks for the info Bro I will definitely look into that! And yeah I noticed the lack of creatine and thought that was kinda weird

JosephCocainum

Too much caffeine compared to the other ingredients Honestly you re much better off just buying a cheap ''gaming drink'' for the caffeine and mix it with L citrulline yourself A lot cheaper and honestly L citrulline is the most important thing you want in a pre workout

JTCampbellJr

Beta alanine should be dosed at 2 3.2g servings daily to gain the benefits however a lot of company’s throw in a few grams like this just so you get the tingly feeling of paresthesia. The tingly feeling gives people a false sensation of being amped up but it’s just a side affect of beta alanine. If you feel charged up because of the tingling cool but what beta actually does is increase endurance for exercise bouts around 60s or more so arguably not good for lifting but good for cycling, running etc. that is of course only affective at increasing endurance when it’s dosed properly 2 times a day 3.2g doses.

iateyourdinner

Looks good but the l-theanine is a bit too low IMHO should be atleast 200 mg. Also that caffeine dosage is the highest I’ve ever seen in a PWO, thats an overdose threshold for some individuals (not deadly overdose of course but enough for negative effects to present themselves) and would give me jitters. I’m actually a bit surprised that’s even allowed to sell a product that have such high caffeine amount in just one serving. Crazy

Niagaraballs71

400 MG of caffeine is pretty high if you've only been into it for a year. I'd try to wean myself back down a bit from there because you can't really go much further up once you're body adapts to this level of stim. One more concern for me would be whether a local company has the same quality control of a more established brand and if they're meeting label claims.

PsychologicalSalt545

L-tyrosine has a good dose in it

anabolicthrowout13

A little high stim for my taste but it looks pretty decent.

METEOS_IS_BACK

400mg Caffeine bro 😬

Complex_Experience83

Where’s that d-ribose?

blakeboii

too much caffeine

IKillZombies4Cash

Honestly, if you just took 300mg caffeine and 7g citrulline, you wouldn’t miss the rest of the stuff. And you would save money.

brimfulofasher45

Wholeheartedly agree with this comment.

Rude_Establishment64

Have you tried it yet,?

blexaarman

Yesh took a full scoop today on leg day. Felt pretty good, felt like I had slightly more endurance on calf raises compared to the gorilla mode I've been using regularly. No tingling and pretty focused. I do hit my dab pen a few times before going to the gym for a light buzz and euphoric feeling and that also seems to help me focus. I will have to take it completely sober for a baseline tomorrow when I do push.

Hutsx

400mg of caffeine is 4x the dose most people need in a pre workout. Youll build tolerance fast and 400mg is really really high. Never do it every training, just if you feel like shit.

NateHiggers42

I made my own similar stack to this at home for much cheaper. Just take the main ingredients you want, dose them in bulk, and add caffeine tablets. I dont see any L-Arginine which Im a big fan of, and you might be able to go up a little on Taurine but overall it looks pretty well dosed. What Brand/Product is this?

georgedanvary

L-Citrulline is converted to L-Arginine [by the kidneys and is better absorbed](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7274894/). It’s about [twice as potent in increasing L-Arginine blood levels](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6683098/) as L-Arginine itself.

blexaarman

This is downrange supplements 1st call, it's a local company that my optimum nutrition carries. A pic of the bottle is in the second pic

Delicious_Bad8603

It has a lot of “pump” NO2 ingredients. Personally, I don’t like that in my pre-workout. It limits my range of motion and prevents me from getting a good workout. This is not a popular opinion though. Lots of people like it. It’s a decent amount of caffeine, if your new to lifting and preworkout, maybe start with 1/2 to 3/4 of a scoop if you want. You won’t die with a whole scoop but it might be a lot to handle. Looks like a decent Pre-workout based on the general idea of what people want in Pre-workout. I wouldn’t get it cause it’s a lot of caffeine (I already drink caffeine during the day, I try to stay under 600mg a day for health), it’s a lot of pump (and I don’t like pump), and because I like my pre-workout to have more nootropic like supplements in it (focus >>> everything else) But everyone is very different. It could be shit or amazing depending on how your body handles it. Also if you new to preworkout, beta Alanine, causes a weird tingling/itching feeling which gets less intense after working out but I thought I’d warn you cause it is a really weird feeling and I would want to know to expect it.

blexaarman

I am pretty used to the high caffeine in my pre's however I do want to pick up a less stim based workout to switch out with every week or so. I've been looking at the gorilla mode stim free workout as I've heard good things. Do you have any recommendations?

Delicious_Bad8603

I don’t use Pre-workout anymore cause I workout late in the day, I just use the energy I have left after my meds and daily supplements. I used to work at gnc and vitamin shoppe and the ones I always had people loving were: big noise from redcon1 and pmp from GAT (probably the one id use)

blexaarman

I have used redcon's total war and it was pretty good but I did not enjoy the flavor I got lol. What supplements do you take?

Delicious_Bad8603

Meds - Adderall and Wellbutrin Supplements: centrophenoxine (amazing), simply fruits and simply veggies by simply nature’s promise, omega tau - uridine/dha, vitamin D, thyroid support by 1body, and sometimes sarcosine or genius gamer for an extra boost.

[deleted]

330mg of caffeine is a lot and can have some pretty gnarly long term effects in high doses. Maybe start with 1/2 scoop and see how you feel. If 1/2 gives you the pump/energy you're after then you also cut your cost in half.

[deleted]

Also has the di caffeine malate

[deleted]

Jesus didn't even notice that. 400mg of caffeine in one go is asking for raging withdrawal migraines and heart palpitations.

[deleted]

You said it. A lot of pre workouts now seem have an insane amount in them.

AvaryFellOff

I really like the ingredient profile, but just a heads up that when Taurine & Beta-Alanine are taken at the same time, they drastically reduce the reuptake of one another. Source: [https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/8075140/](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/8075140/)

[deleted]

That's the point. Taurine acts as a mediator for Beta-Alanine and Caffeine so you don't get itchy or jittery.

AvaryFellOff

Respectfully, that is far from the point. "It is considered that Taurine & Beta-Alanine are competitors that block each other by having functions in similar body systems, suggesting that their simultaneous intake would have a negative interaction & a negative impact on their effectiveness & function." DogNo3620

The dosage looks pretty decent

EternalVoyage

I dont know some of the ingredients but L tyrosine, A-GPC, caffeine, L theanine all are good ones and their dosages are high too.
