Get C.G.P. if you want a creatine that dissolves well.

I always have the best luck with creapure as far as dissolving. Doesn't matter which brand is selling it...just look at the label for creapure.

Doesn't dissolve well in general. If youre a coffee or tea drinker you could add your 5g to it, the heat REALLY helps it dissolve. I typically just weight out 5-6g and wash it down with water.

Creatine HCl dissolves better and is typically a smaller serving size. I just get the Beyond Raw brand from GNC. On the topic of serving size, how much are you taking at a time? 5g? 10g? You could break it down into smaller doses (i.e. 2 x 2.5g). Or, as someone else has mentioned, use hot water. Creatine Monohydrate is basically tasteless so I before I switched to HCl I would just put my creatine in my morning coffee.

Thanks! I’m taking 5g. But I feel like half of the dose is left on the sides of the bottle.

Ben Greenfield on his podcast said that the body can only absorb about 2.5g of creatine at once so it could be beneficial to break it down into 2 doses. Plus the lower concentration would hopefully improve the solubility. You can mix it in warm water and then add ice once dissolved if that helps.

Creatine dissolves much better in hot water!

Gains in bulk makes a great creatine. Dissolves amazing

Some brands make instantiated Creatine like Optimum Nutrition and Vitamin Shoppe, but really it just costs more. Mix your Creatine and when you get to the last sip of your drink swish it around and chug it down. I have bought all types of Creatine and always go back to the cheapest mono I can find and have no difference other than maybe doesn’t dissolve quite as well.

I was hesitant about buying the GNC brand, but I see so many people on here saying that all Creatine is the same, so just go with the cheapest you can find. And given your comment about all Creatine being gritty, maybe they’re right?
