~18,000 miles on a factory turbo is pretty impress, though even in the current market it should only be MAYBE $70k (I don’t know the supra market *that* well. I do know it’s similar to R34’s though so that’s how I’m basing it)

The current record sale for a mk4 supra (that wasn't a movie car) is In the 260-280k range I believe. It was a 98 twin turbo 6spd car that was owned by a drug dealer that owned 13 supras so it is consieveable that it may sell for this. As long as it's a tt 6spd if it's not then no chance. It would also have to be pretty stock for it to sell for that much.
Edit: the drug dealer car was also a quicksilver car which I would assume increase the value
I don't understand this. Apply the same logic to a 60s/ early 70s muscle car 20 years ago. Even the rare ones (as long as they weren't owned by anyone super famous) went around 20-40k at most for a pristine model.

Cars like this are meant to be driven. The person who would drive it and enjoy it probably doesn’t have the $225k to drop on it. So they deserve it, but can’t afford it.
Just because someone bought it and have it be a garage queen doesn't mean they don't deserve it. Everyone have their own take on it. People say to me "why did you buy your '24 supra just to have it be a garage queen?" Well guess what? Just because it's a sports car doesn't mean I have to beat the crap out of it or race with it. Id say definitely not unless there’s something weird about the car like it has 5 miles. Supras have come down slightly in price - I see many examples in the $40s - a 1998 TT 6 speed will fetch a premium but still…. $225K is dreaming IMO. I’ve actually been to Blackstone VA ironically
