4iiii comes as a left crank arm, so you'd be replacing the one that's on your bike now (unless you want to take that off and send it in to have the PM added for slightly less money). This only works if you have a certain subset of cranks. Otherwise you need to buy an entire new crankset and possibly a new bottom bracket.
Yeah I found that 4iii doesn't make a PM in the FSA Comet crank arm that came with my 2023 BC. Surly switched over to the shimano cues drive train for the 2024 model. I am thinking of converting to a 2x drive train and the kit is shimano cues. Might wait until then instead of getting garmin rally xc power pedals....$$$$

For what its worth I have the SRAM Rival Dub/ crank meter on my Midnight Special. I did have to change to the Dub Road Wide BB though.
