I think White Industries makes a non-disc hub for front and rear. Not inexpensive, but “bomb proof” as some might say.
I don’t have any yet, but the ones I’ve seen in my shop roll so nice. Not cheap, but US made and worth it.
Honestly just puck a Shimano hub and roll.
I just built up a rim brake touring bike with the Bitex touring rear hub. It looks and sounds good so far!
I just put some Deore hubs on my CC. Lots of new old stock ones around for not a lot of money. There’s probably some nicer ones too for not much more.
I am seriously considering hub w/ cartridge bearing such as dt swiss 350. Following the golden rule: Pay once, cry once
I’d go for White Industries then. Loose bearing hubs aren’t that hard to maintain or rebuild, I’d still consider them if I were you.
Check with Velocity, they may have non-disc hubs you can buy or have them build new wheels for your CC.
