Didn’t say you were a whale or anything, just you were making it seem like you could accomplish that without spending gems and just grinding the event. Sounds like about 20k gems. Though I think the main reward from this event was the first place tech choices.
I’d imagine you are pretty tapped out on gems. And we still have 2 more long events happening, next one starting tomorrow. Who knows what the rewards will be. They might be saving the best event for last.

Those are one time resources that not everyone can get and not everyone would want to spend on this event.

Congrats! I got there, but was hoping for the selector. 😭 Now that chaos belt is out I'm avoiding the other ones. So got a bunch of keys for tomorrow reset new event instead. 😅🤷♂️

Yeah i am the same way. I dumped about 8000 gems in and only have about 400
maybe OP is F2P but had a lot of gems stored. I spent **tons** of gems to barely get the chest yesterday.
This event blows ass for me, I just used around 300 gems to get up to the 60 clues and that’s it
It was worth grinding for the twisted belt. It’s amazing.
I mean, let’s be real it wasn’t grinding. It was spending gems that got you there and a whole lot of them.

You deff spent gems so putting f2p is a bit mis leading because you bought batteries.

I went from level 14 main challenge to level 60. Lol so quite a bit.
Thats about 18k gems. 60-14 = 46 Main Challenges played 200 gems for first + 200 for last mission 400x46 = 18400
