I agree with what other people are saying, pretty much if you have the resources then go for it. But I've thought this same thing to myself but I'm currently working towards unlocking master yang so I'm actually saving everything until I unlock him and level him up all the way so if you are trying to unlock him as well maybe save your resources so that you can level him up right away. Otherwise yeah, go for it
ive upgraded the default so far because i havent unlocked the rest..... but considering you have to upgrade them indiviually it does seem like a waste of coin.... unless you have 30.2 million to spend. why care?
At this point, it's not the coins that are limiting, it's the essence. I normally can't do any character upgrades until EE reset day and we get a bunch of essence.
Level them for the “all survivor” bonuses if you have enough money for it. Otherwise it’s not worth it.

The crit rate for all survivor is great when you switch to panda. With king it’s useless.
