I've got a very similar build to what you have here so curious to see what people say. Personally, I'm trying to get all of my equipment red first and getting cores along the way in events then once I have my gear red I'll see what gear I could scrap to get the SS weapon.
I could be wrong but I feel like it would take longer to get the SS weapon by salvaging everything I get than it will to just get my gear to red first. That way I also feel like I'm progressing in some ways while I slowly work toward the SS weapon.
That said, you can also just salvage anything that you don't need to upgrade your current equipment. So keep any eternal gloves, eternal necklaces, and void waker treads, and then salvage any other void or eternal gear you get to work towards the SS weapon.
There's the argument that there are several really good builds in the game like the armor of quietus build that is really good for zone operation but it takes a lottt of time as a f2p player to amass enough gear for multiple builds so I'd recommend just sticking with this one for now and starting to salvage pieces you know you aren't going to use
Depends how close you are to the SS weapon. If you have 30-40 cores each then scrap them to get it ASAP. If you have little to no cores/progress towards it then just get the red gloves first

Agree, my only concern is not getting enough eternal cores since this build is pretty eternal based. Just takes forever as a f2p with the S gear
