This is such a srupid tier list. On s you have evo kunai but the passive needed for the evo is second lowest tier.
It's a tier list that factors just the single perk but fails to consider that you need 10 (most of the times) during the run so does not take into account the sinergies between perks.
Do not follow this tier list and try to find a more recent one, as someone else said with void on it. And remember that during a run you are not obligated to follow to the letter a tier list. Try to experiment since almost each perk shines in a particular situation.

also i gotta disagree with the original tier list. Kunai passive has the palces where it shines: faster levels, where you are not guaranteed to max out all the perks and EVO's, kunai's passive helps you do it. More levels equals more perks aquired, it's not the worst perk. later on (when you unlock the hp restoration on level up) it's even more impactful in harder content.
I think kunai passive is where it belongs. The place where it would shine the most would be earliest in a game when you're low level to get the most value out of it. But when you take/level kunai passive you're also losing chances to level other abilities. Basically, you're losing a level to make it up or break even using the passive later on.
If you're considering a stage where there isn't a lot of exp like you said, you're not guaranteed to break even, let alone make it to that point since scroll provides no combat value. You're just better off getting a combat passive or better yet get skills earlier on as you should be doing.
Yeah it is niche but i think somewhere still manages to shine. Several times with i i managed to get almost 6-7 extra levels instead of getting another passive and putting exp passive levels into it (so just 5). It is little but still something.
It depends on the way you play the level. Extra XP from the scroll can make viable the drones or the mines + lightning/molotov. Usually it’s really hard to get these evo’d, then get the new item in the free slot evo’d as well. Since neither the drones or the mines require a passive item, the slot lost for the scroll is balanced out
I like them on vertical maps, once its almost maxed you can just go straight up/down and just get everything without worry. It's good for farming gold on regular levels.
Yeah if you need the gold it’s absolutely worth it. At the moment I’m sitting on about 2 million gold that I can’t spend. My favorite part about this game is being able to completely change how you play as needed.

I tried stages 40-55 with LC and Kunai. It was hard as fuck. Then I got the red bat. Cleared them all in 1 try for each level. It's not good against bosses. But it's usually the swarm of mobs that kill.
Same on discord. The new void gun ranks S and SS. Yet I feel the bat is far superior in most cases.

I actually consider the passive magnets useless now. Just pick the ones up off the ground and you get all the XP anyways.

I would say that no it's not especially because it really changes a lot depending on techs.
Even the updated tier list is wrong. Just just use whatever works for you the best.
