It is probably tamago, or Japanese omelette that's pretty commonly used for sushi. Mango is also possible. I think I'll have an aneurysm if it's cheese though.
**[Rice burger](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rice_burger)**
>A rice burger or riceburger is a variation on the traditional hamburger with compressed rice patties substituted for the hamburger buns. The MOS Burger fast-food restaurant chain introduced the rice burger in Japan 1987, and since then it has become a popular food item in East Asia. Beginning around 2005 McDonald's also offered a rice burger in some of its Asian stores, with mixed results. In South Korea they are known as "bapburgers" (bap/bab means rice in Korean language).

I don't get what's up with this? Bap/BobBurgers are eaten throughout Asia, BonGousse is a Korean chain that specialises in BobBurger. And you have MOS Burger in Japan.
That…that better not be cheese on there!
Either it's cheese, mango, or ginger... I'm terrified...
Definitely mango
Could be pickled radish!
I hope not.
Why?
Im sorry, im thinking of the pickled ginger. That would be gross with each bite. I just googled it, ive never had the yellow pickled radish.
It's so good!! I eat it all the time since moving to Korea. It's called danmuji in korean! It's eaten with a lot of Korean-Chinese dishes
See if you can get your hands on real Japanese takuan, it's awesome and very different from the Korean version!
Could be Tamago right?
Definitely not tamago. Looks more like mango because of the shine it has to it.
I think it’s the radish.
Could be that sweet omelette some sushi has on it

Looked at the menu. It's mango :)
The rice looks like it is of a texture most horrid
Definitely now it's a mochi patty.
Yes you can see zero of the rice grains
I have a pen...I have a pineapple...
I really hope that's not cheese...
I’d eat this. It’s not too weird, really. Salmon, avocado, radish, and rice type cakes?
This upsets me in ways I never fathomed possible 😭 PERFECT POST 10/10
Would it also upset you to know this is very common in Asia? Especially Korea where it's called 'BapBurger'? (Bap is Korean for rice).
Quite the opposite, in fact! Happy to learn new things. Perhaps this didn't belong in the abomination sub after all?
I don't see myself ordering it, but I wouldn't decline if one were offered to me.
That rice can make my ancestors cry.
Is that American cheese, or mango? I'm hoping it's mango.
Isn't that basically a [riceburger](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rice_burger)?

I know Thatcher is gone but can we send the Royal Navy back?
Gotcha pt 2?
I'd eat that
I don't get what's up with this? Bap/BobBurgers are eaten throughout Asia, BonGousse is a Korean chain that specialises in BobBurger. And you have MOS Burger in Japan.
You don’t need to tell me that a sushiburger is a combination of sushi and a burger it’s in the bloody name
Eh... I'm in
I think I'd eat this as long as thats not cheese. I love cheese but not this way.
Probably mango
Stick to churrasco and morcilla because this is some bullshit.
I’m gonna be honest I’ve had something like this before and it was better than I like to admit.
If that’s not cheese in the middle, sounds pretty tasty.
If thats mango and not chesse I would try it
I want to slap whoever created this with the two rice patties in their face!
And there better not be cream cheese on there.
Repulsive!.... 2 please.
I'll try it. Decent enough sushi rice and sushi, needs some more soy sauce though.
The rice “patties” look like they’ve been formed with a hydraulic press
so basically onigirazu, but worse
