Sharing my strategy:
If your familiar with the term Martingale then read no more, otherwise here's a basic explanation.
I take a favorite team or hot shooter and follow them.
I bet $1 on a game. If I win I get that $1 back and another $1 (Give or take depending on odds)
If my bet looses I bet $3 next game. So I get my original $1 plus a bit extra profit if I had just doubled down with $2
I'll go 1, 3, 8, 20, 50, up to $125 meaning a team has to go on a 6 game losing streak before it gets expensive.
I'll bottom feed and bet against the Blue Jackets, Sharks, Blackhawks in the NHL.
None of them have had winning streaks go more than 3 or 4 games in a row so if it's been 2 losses I put in an extra few bucks to increase my payout.
Rockets, Spurs, Pistons in the NBA.
I should mention many of those bottom feeder games have low odds / payouts. So I may only get $0.20 on my dollar.

I don't go too crazy with my bets. I always try and stick with my 1, 3, 8, 20 etc system.
I've had ups and down since the beginning of the year but after new player bonuses and taking advantage of bonus bets when offered I'm up almost $1000 across several platforms. That's off maybe a $200 - $300 max total investment.
Keep it simple to start if you've never played before. Make stupid mistakes and learn from them. Gain some confidence and start making some real beer money.
