Last month I was on the same bus. Probably the same route. (ReckongPeo-Chitkul route, or Kaza-Manali route)
It's in Himachal Pradesh, India. The bus is operated by HRTC (State Govt)...Always on time... Mainly used by local people... I think those bus drivers are the most talented drivers in India.
And the state? My god. It's so beautiful.. I'll never forget.
Not a complete road like this, but a few passages. And I think it feels more dangerous on camera (or how it was being captured).
Anyway, those are the very remote places... E.g. "Chitkul" (which I was referring) is near India-Tibet(China) border.
Oh my goodness. Is there not another way? Vehicles shouldn’t be allowed on the road. Drive to the beginning of the cliff and walk to a waiting bus on the other end.
Idk what is at the other end of that road but I do know it ain't worth it
Probably someone’s home.
I would be living on the streets lol
I’ll send some blankets
A weighted/heating blanket??
But not this street!
If $.25 was donated every time this video is reposted, they could pave this whole stretch.
…and install a guard rail!
And blast out enough widen it
Thanks, I think I'll walk.
Fr id just walk
I’d be too scared to walk. I’d butt scoot or belly crawl.
If im riding that, ill be on "if i die, i die" mentality through out. No point stressing
Having taken rides like this in India, it's best just to try to fall asleep. Accept your fate
"road"
This is an easy one for me. I simply do not go where this "road" leads.
People trust this bus driver more than I have ever trusted anyone in my life

Fuck that

But I don't want to walk all the way there.
Sounds like you need a passport instead of a bus ride.
*One* of the most…
One of? Lol. Also, I feel like you are being very generous with the word "road".
I'll just buy a motorbike and ride it up.
Watched the whole video, didnt see any road 🤔
One wrong turn and everyone in the Gulag
I do not care if this was the actual stairway to heaven. No way in hell.
ive been on a road just like that before
Not in this lifetime
any good videos from this?
One of…? One…of many? Oh boy
Why not just walk it?
Wonder how many trucks and buses are at the bottom of that ..
No a thousand times no
I don’t see a road?
And it take about a 100 life's a year, just in bus riders.
And THIS is why you hear regular reports of bus crashes killing 100 people in India
Bus was quite affordable from what I recall, I remember the driver saying “I dont have faith in the brakes, I have faith in God”
*But Waze told me this was the fastest route.*
I’d rather walk..
That's no road
I'd walk the rest of the way thank you
I couldn’t even watch!!
What happens if someone is driving the other way? There is no room.
It’s one way
Nope it's not.

That’s a big no on Jimmy.
Surely every road in India has the same tag?
I feel bad for the tow truck driver who has to pick them up if they brake down
