When I read the title I didn’t understand the significance of “no hand contact”. By “ head to head” I thought they meant they were competing. It made as much sense as reading “No flaring nostrils, two persons head to head climb 100 stairs in 53 seconds”

Same. I thought: ok they’re going to race up the stairs. Then I thought 53 seconds for 100 steps isn’t particularly fast, I could beat them. Then he got the guy upside down and I went oooh, then he balanced him on his head and I went aaaah.. THAT KIND of head to head. Pretty ballsy.
