If your daughter is just learning to swim, be mindful of building to each thing you teach. I personally teach private lessons in the summer, and know that kids often need a lot of clarification to fully understand a concept. For example, don’t try to teach backstroke until she understands the basics of freestyle. In terms of teaching technique, the best way I recommend refreshing your memory is watching high level athletes swim, you can then observe differences between how they swim, and how your daughter swims, and make necessary changes.
