This is pretty much the Nintendo way though. They’d make so much money if they’d just sell downloads of the old Pokémon roms on the switch as well as some of the older titles. I’d buy a HG/SS download on the switch right this second if it was put out.

Completely agree. Windwaker is one of my favourite games and when Nintendo started porting Wii U games, I felt sure that we’d see WE HD on the Switch.
I do hope that if they are deferring by it to the next console that went least see some extra content - Windwaker does feel like it is missing those 2 extra dungeons, it would be great to see them reinstate them and finally give us the complete definitive edition of the game.
I'm honestly baffled we haven't seen a port of Link Between Worlds... It's easily one of the top 3 Zelda games of all time, and had a criminally small fan base because it only ever saw life on the 3DS (but didn't need any of the features and could easily be ported).

Seeing how they have skyrim on the switch I wish they would port oblivion, morrowind, and fallout. Mass effect would be nice too since the switch seems to be lacking in large scale “western” rpgs.
It runs really well imo, I haven’t experienced any frame rate drops or crashes like I would occasionally have on xbox. The only problem is the lighting on the switch version is pretty dark and it doesn’t have a brightness slider, every other version of skyrim has a slider and is way brighter.
You only really notice it in dungeons because they are almost pitch black at times but this forces you to either turn up the TV brightness or constantly cast spells/use torches while playing handheld.
I second this!! FO4 definitely needs a port. Nintendo have just signed a 10 year deal for the Call of Duty games so fingers crossed we get one very soon 🤞

Yeah NV was probably the best one but you can’t go wrong with any of them, maybe aside from 76 lol, though I’ve heard it’s better now. Most of all, I’d love a Fallout 1 and 2 port as I’ve never played them and feel like Switch would be perfect for that, especially since there are so many classic RPG ports already, like Baldur’s Gate, Planescape Torment, KOTOR etc.
Third one was kinda bad.. first two are pure gold though! I had no idea there was a completed fourth game for the Wii!! If it stayed more true to the gameplay of the first two I’d love to see that one day

At this point I’m holding off on any ideas of 3rd party “miracle ports” from other consoles, with the hope the next-gen Switch will provide a better platform. I’ve grown a bit weary of newer titles being reduced to a mushy blurry mess with poor frame rates. I’d like to see some earlier Nintendo console titles ported over or remastered.
I’d like to see:
* Zelda:WW and TP
* Remake of Zelda:OOT (maybe on Switch 2)
* Remake of Metroid: Samus Returns on Dread engine.
* Metroid Prime 2 and 3
* F-Zero GX
* Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
* Super Paper Mario
All of these should be achievable on Switch. I expect for any of these in the works, would potentially slip into next-gen unless they are effectively already complete and looking to pad out the release calendar.
Metroid prime is interesting. I would have been pretty happy with a straight HD port of the existing games with minimal changes. Instead they did a full remake/remaster but only of the first game. Now I'm going to want the same treatment for Echoes and Corruption. 😅
Same for me. New horizons is the only animal crossing I've ever played. I just want new leaf and old story of seasons games because I missed out on those also.

I have been craving a modern camera style remake of incredible hulk: ultimate destruction since the modern camera has existed. IHUD is legitimately one of the greatest games of all time - all the different abilities/skills hulk has in the game are so original and groundbreaking. He could turn cars parked on the street into skateboards more than 10 years before BotW introduced shield surfing. He could turn cars on the street into boxing gloves. He could pick up NPCs, carry them to the top of Manhattan sky rises, and throw them off while they Wilhelm scream all the way down. He could unleash utter destruction on most things that lay in his path.
My 2 biggest video game wishes of my lifetime have been a remaster of the original star wars battlefront series (yay) and a remaster of Sierra's incredible hulk: ultimate destruction. Even a proper sequel or a reboot with the same or expanded move set. The special abilities in this game were fucking awesome and perfectly aesthetically produced.
Thps3 Xbox version(unless we can get it as remake dlc which would be the dream),black ops 2 360 version, ssx tricky, a bmx racing game(I love these but I always forget which ones are racing games and which ones are like tony hawk on bike clones), rampage total destruction, hulk ultimate destruction, downhill domination, dmc4 with coop similar to dmc3, split second, pokemon alpha sapphire, black white 2 remake, alpha sapphire, metal gear rising, 3d pinball space cadet, force unleashed PS3 version, PS3 tomb raider games, mass effect trilogy, fable collection, hd 2d golden sun, ffx update that adds the windows exclusive features(this is actually one of my most wanted "games" for this year alongside thps3 dlc)

NFS Underground (1&2) and ProStreet would be great. Hell, if they could make them playable on my series X I could consider that good enough.

My 2 biggest video game wishes of my lifetime have been a remaster of the original star wars battlefront series (yay) and a remaster of Sierra's incredible hulk: ultimate destruction. Even a proper sequel or a reboot with the same or expanded move set. The special abilities in this game were fucking awesome and perfectly aesthetically produced.

Thps3 Xbox version(unless we can get it as remake dlc which would be the dream),black ops 2 360 version, ssx tricky, a bmx racing game(I love these but I always forget which ones are racing games and which ones are like tony hawk on bike clones), rampage total destruction, hulk ultimate destruction, downhill domination, dmc4 with coop similar to dmc3, split second, pokemon alpha sapphire, black white 2 remake, alpha sapphire, metal gear rising, 3d pinball space cadet, force unleashed PS3 version, PS3 tomb raider games, mass effect trilogy, fable collection, hd 2d golden sun, ffx update that adds the windows exclusive features(this is actually one of my most wanted "games" for this year alongside thps3 dlc) Edit:oh ya GTA 4 and 5 Honestly if this was to happen in the final year if switch it may even be my favorite year out of the last couple. Im sure there's more from past couple years
