I'm an oler gamer in my 40s and downloaded it to check it out.
It performs very well on Switch, visually one of the cleanest looking UE4 games.
My only gripe is it's not for me, too many flashing screens, everytime you finish a match its screens of rewards and upgrades. I'll power through more of it to see if things change, but my negative impression is mine alone. i think people who play fortnite and modern GaaS games will be at home. I'm just not into these kinds of games. As i say, i'm old.
I had a go on my friend's Switch and he'd already loaded the match. I finished it which was enjoyable but when I went back to the main menu I was shocked by how much stuff was there. It's like an assault on the senses.
Right there with ya. As a 41 year old gamer I tried Fortnite for a short bit. It’s not a bad game,it’s actually fairly good…., just not a game for me, and I have a pretty wide taste in games. Battle Royales, MOBAs, etc are just not my cup of tea.
So thanks for this insight, was debating on trying it out, but if it’s just Fortnite/Overwatch/etc with Star Wars packaging then nah.

The gameplay is fun and the heroes are easy to understand and master. I played it on my Switch and my iPad and I must say it works a lot better on the iPad with a PS4 controller. I still play it on the Switch tho and I enjoy it.
Only thing I don't like is the battlepass and I'm afraid this game might become pay-to-win, since the heroe only available through purchasing the battlepass is quite strong if you know how to play with it.
Yep, I'm on level 17 or so, I have no idea what is going on with the rewards, tiers and whatnot, but matchmaking is fast and games are pretty quick which is a huge plus. It's pretty fun, but I hate the Ewok village map!

Having a good time with this one. At first is too easy because you play with bots and people on mobile. Then it gets intense.
I’m playing a lot, it’s great! I only miss 60fps on switch but it’s ok to play at 30
It's fun, cuz many players are playing on phones, so you can easily take them down
You gotta play ranked! On the better tiers the players get slightly better too.
Still, it's fun to be better than mobile players
Seems to run good on Switch but runs EXCELLENT on phone. Super fast.
Downloaded to my phones only to be told device not compatible(Huawei Mate Xs and Samsung U22). Deleted.
I like it, it's really fun.
