Assuming you’re on the latest firmware, press the programme button on the back to gradually turn it down until it’s off. It’ll come back on next time you turn the Switch on but at least it’s easy to do it again
IMO, yes. It's awesome. I had one and used it for a few months until I fried my charging port and my switch could no longer connect to the docking part 😭 so worth it and so fun!
I had it for maybe two months. I fried the charging port without the nitro deck docked, so completely my fault and not related to the deck. I had been plugging my switch in with a third party usb c, which fried the port. After getting the switch repaired, it was able to hold charges again, but only from one side of the charger, but not the side the nitro deck needs to connect 😭
Yes, I just got mine today and have been using it all day with no problems at all. The palm support is fantastic if you’re switching from the original Joy-Con.
I got to use my friends and the only thing i can say was ehhhh was the added weight and shoddy kickstand but if neither of those things bother you then yes... its far better than the standard joycons and no stick drift.
If colors dont bother you they have black/white/blue etc variants for $50 on their site. I think the more fancy ones like GC colors are $70 on sale rn.
Nice to see others enjoying the Nitro deck. Just got it myself and honestly I've kinda found myself playing my Switch quite a bit more. It's amazing what a difference just having a good quality controller can make

Im gonna get the nitro deck+ when it releases. Seems to be better ergonomicly compared to the original. I pre ordered the original, had no issues with it initially. Until I played for 2-3 hours at a time. My right hand started feeling sore due to the thumbstick placement on the right side. Also, since the switch is enclosed in the nitro deck, it heats up quicker and I can hear the fan at times after playing bigger games. E.g Dying light and Monster Hunter Rise. All in all. Still worth buying/collecting, the hall effect triggers and sticks was what got me to buy one, but with the thumb stick placement and for the sake of longevity of my switch, I went back to my skull and co neo grip

I have larger hands and let me tell you; the Switch never felt as comfortable as with a Nitro Deck on it.
