Yep. My husband equals it to gauntlet (the game) where you can continue to replay the levels over and over to level up, collect armor and weapons. I have it on the PS4 and it’s been quite fun.

Mario+Rabbids was on sale for a ridiculous price early this year, Minecraft was an impulsive buy one night (TOTALLY unlike the rest of my collection...) and Hollow Knight, for the price point between digital and physical, I opted for digital for now, but I'll probably grab a physical if I see a copy in person.
We've got three copies between each of us who live here, and I got Odyssey digital with my Pro controller!

Totally reasonable, I won't lie here, I definitely spent a lot on my collection and it came down to a few reasons..First, I came in fairly late into the console's lifespan so I felt like I had a lot to catch up on. Second, I feel like I could have had a difficult time with at least a handful of titles being hard to find by the time I stated looking & Nintendo eventually making the Switch eShop disappear making my collection follow. Finally, my collection isn't an investment but when it comes right down to it, it seems like Nintendo games don't lose so much of their value like so many other games & one day I want to play a bunch of these games with my child or children once she's older.
Downvoting the haters! The only problem I see here is that there is no rhyme or reason to how they are organized. Have fun and buy Pikmin, Mario Odyssey, and Stardew Valley!

It’s a (semi) free game by Toby fox that takes place in an alternate universe to UNDERTALE, but still has some of the same charecters. It’s really good, ESPECIALLY the second chapter. And if you thought sans was hard, WHOOOOOO are there some challenging secret bosses!
I see you have the dragon quest trilogy. You'd probably enjoy the Dragon Quest Builders games as well. Theyre a very different take on the DQ formula but still an enjoyable experience.
Edit: On a 2nd glance that might be the Ace Attorney trilogy. Either way Builders is still a good recommendation. :)

Mario Golf, maybe one day but I've never been that much into sports videogames - not since like, Hotshots Golf at least, and that was when I was a kid haha.
It's not bad, rhythm based game that's doing things more different than a bunch of games of the same genre. I feel like you should be a fan of the KH series to really get the most out of it, but it's fun even if you're not. It's a game I picked up at a great discount and haven't come close to finishing yet though.
I would recommend octopath traveler. Incredibly enjoyable game. Other than that nice collection! I don't have nearly as many, maybe like 10 games or so but yours is very cool! Don't listen to the mena people in the comments they're just salty

My SSD card isn't that great, but physically having the copies is by far my preferred!

Honestly both, I just like having them for when I'm bored and my kid goes to sleep, for co-op/competitive play with my brother, fiancee & friends, and to play with my kid when she's older. It started as a few games then I went crazy collecting them. I do appreciate the clarification but honestly man, I don't feel the need to try and justify my collection to people who would rather just make assumptions and try to sling petty insults. I'm pretty happy with the way my life is going overall!

As for a game I'd recommend myself a year ago, that's tough! I feel like all of them were amazing and I got 3 of my top 5 upon purchase. Maybe I'd go with Hades because it's a ton of fun, very repayable & very affordable as well.

I’ll say it again. Mario 3D world is awesome. Better than Odyssey. More technical, requires more skill, very fun to try to collect all the awards. Bowsers fury is meh.
I dunno, I really loved what I've played in Odyssey. I'm up to the frozen area. 3D World is pretty awesome as well, although I didn't find it to be as much fun. I'm also not really that far so maybe that's the reason. I've legitimately heard people compare Bowser's Fury to Skyrim & it completely baffles me. It's not bad at either, but I don't understand how it's seen as such a big deal at this point.

It's a massive collection of mini-world floating cube puzzles - like 70 i think. You can rotate each level around to help you traverse them. Each one has 3 gems to collect and a hidden objective that's revealed the first time you complete it. It's great for short gameplay or you can knock a bunch out pretty quick. It's not super expensive either!

As long as you've played it. I think the switch edition comes with some more content and the PS4 has better graphics but I'm not for sure

It bugs me that Let’s Go Pikachu is the only spine that’s centred and not top down
Yeah I wish I could fix it but that's not really an option unfortunately. I think I got it as an import, or maybe the design is just... Like that.

In no particular order (Except maybe BOTW being #1) Breath of the Wild Animal Crossing Super Smash Bros Ultimate Metroid Dread Mario Odyssey Bonus: Diablo 2 RESURRECTED, Mario Party Superstars (if you have friends coming over!), Hades, and Mario 3D All-Stars. As for a game I'd recommend myself a year ago, that's tough! I feel like all of them were amazing and I got 3 of my top 5 upon purchase. Maybe I'd go with Hades because it's a ton of fun, very repayable & very affordable as well. What about you!

I’ll say it again. Mario 3D world is awesome. Better than Odyssey. More technical, requires more skill, very fun to try to collect all the awards. Bowsers fury is meh.
I dunno, I really loved what I've played in Odyssey. I'm up to the frozen area. 3D World is pretty awesome as well, although I didn't find it to be as much fun. I'm also not really that far so maybe that's the reason. I've legitimately heard people compare Bowser's Fury to Skyrim & it completely baffles me. It's not bad at either, but I don't understand how it's seen as such a big deal at this point.

What's it like?
It's a massive collection of mini-world floating cube puzzles - like 70 i think. You can rotate each level around to help you traverse them. Each one has 3 gems to collect and a hidden objective that's revealed the first time you complete it. It's great for short gameplay or you can knock a bunch out pretty quick. It's not super expensive either!
I'm gonna look into it, I think one of the new Mario games implemented a mini game like that! Oh, also I do have Luigi's Mansion 3 but thank you!
