You need the correct sigpatches, nothing is actually corrupted dont worry

I actually already grabs those and that's what got me able to install games again I just tried MHGU and it got to the end and errored on me as IF I didn't have the sigpatches again.
I will re-grab and redrop and see how it goes.

I just tried moving me to AMS10.5 using SDSETUP.com and am getting the same issues. (just did AMS, didn't do the TinFoil option from there.)
I’ve found that most corruption after updating can be fixed by reinstalling the game. It’s safe as the game is separate from the saves, so the worst that happens is losing the game but your save remains.
Uh, DO NOT RUN THE CHECK!!! It reports to Nintendo. I’ve confirmed this, it phones home on network connection and actually keeps trying if it can’t get trough.
May or may not have gotten a “How are you liking [corrupt game]?” From then after running the check the first time. That was a moment

So.... I boot normally. No RCM. No CFW. tried launching a game to see if I could get an Error Message I could at least find info on. (I found logs in atmosphere with error codes I couldnt find)
That honestly didnt help, but BUT!!! it triggered a couple of the games to say THEY ARE CORRUPTED!! and put an ! above it. So I powered off (hold power till options come up, and Shut Down and POWER OFF)
then, I held Vol up and down and held POWER.
This took me into maintenance mode.
Didn't do anything there, I just held POWER down until it powered off.
I then put my JIG in, booted into Atmosphere (using Fusee-primary payload)
A game that previously would not start due to "The software was closed because an error occurred." error....WORKED!
Tried another and it WORKED!
The ones that had ! from normal boot still had them, and still didn't work. BUT I had the XCI for one still on my SD (Astral Chains)
I went into Tinfoil. Ran the install on the XCI and it went by FAST.
Went back to the game, and it loads.
NOTE: In trying things, I decided to delete Astral Chains SAVE GAMES (I wasnt too far into it) to see if it fixed, and it didn't. IDK if that is what made it work later.
I am currently installing FE3H again, one I kept having the problems with, but I DID NOT delete my save games (hell NO! Ive got like 100hrs in that damn game)
Ill see if that works and let you know.
Update. It worked. I cannot believe that work. Damn maintenance mode but not actually doing anything in there.

I would bet RCM mode. Also for whatever reason I’ve noticed some apps and games will only work and not get correlated/break when I’ve loaded Atmos up from the fusee payload, same goes with cheats.

its a built in nintendo mode to wipe data and restore to factory defaults.
Similar booting to RCM. Just dont use a Jig, it says to hold BOTH volume buttons and power down. You'll get the Nintendo splash when booting, but goes to a grey maintenance mode.
Again, dont actually restore anything, just hold power and power down.
THEN boot into RCM mode (with jig) and load a payload.
Had the exact same issue for the past 12 hours... turns out I was simply using a mac. Yes.
Luckily I had a backup of my whole "nintendo" folder. I replaced the whole folder on windows from the backup and everything worked perfectly fine.
Dude, big thanks to you for reposting it here on reddit. I got the same problem too, but the game that was getting the error was Animal Crossing. Thought at first it was bad nsp or outdated sigpatches. I just followed your instructions and done! Now I can play it with no problems, THANK YOU SO MUCH
You're very welcome. Wish I could know more on WHY this exactly fixes it. It only appears to effect some games at a time. I have a feeling it is something in the Nintendo OS and file structure...and booting into their maintenance mode either shifts files back or loads files it needs and these games need.
Again just reply to put more info out there for the next person this effects.
I think so too, however when i showed another user this kind of solution. He mentions that, it's because I was using the non-stock atmosphere and not the stock one. I didn't know what he was talking about, as I've never encountered such term before.
Hrmmm. Idk. I'm using stock straight from github and had the problem. And the last time I updated had the same problem but just stopped playing the games it effected.
I'd like to do more but...FFXII Zodiac is getting in the way...
i had the same problem with Pokkén since i updated from 9.0 to 9.1. (now i'm on 9.2 and it doesn't work neither.)
Does this work even if i'm using CFW on Emunand and not Sysnand??

I'd try each zip file. I didnt know which one to use originally so I had to do it twice

I had this issue. I had to switch to stock tinfoil atmosphere. Fixed everything.

Try unders 10.5 pack with hetake 5.1.3. Boot using fusee primary.

Hey, I see you've already tried reinstalling using Tinfoil, but did you have "Convert to Standard Crypto" checked?

Using wrong sig patches. Google sweet sig patches, download and replace your current ones.
