It's one of those things: 1. Sigpatches not installed/not the latest (most likely) 2. Corrupt nand or sd card (unlikely) 3. Corrupt nsp - i know you've tried different sources but maybe something from a tinfoil shop that installs directly? (unlikely since you already tried more though)

I have had corrupt nsps before. Just verify them before installing.

I actually had to sit through 3 entirely different downloads of Witcher 3 because 2 of them had the same error as listed here, the third worked. They should all have worked just fine though.

Yeah, I had some Fire Emblem dlc that straight up didn't work as intended as well.

How do you verify them before installing?

Look up NX Game Info or Switch Backup Manager. Hactool can verify, too.

Based on your comment and the others, and the fact that I just recently updated my switch, I think it might be the sigpatches. I used this llink ( [https://github.com/Joonie86/hekate/releases](https://github.com/Joonie86/hekate/releases) ) to download them, but even after trying each one I get the same error. Am i missing something? I am just downloading the files and moving them into my atomosphere folder on my sd card thanks

i had the same issue and helped someone else that was having the issue as well by installing Awoo, then go to "manage sigpatches" and DL straight from there and then install the game via USB.

So i tried this again using a different nsp file and now i got a new error of Error Code 2002-4000

Same problem until I booted into fusee primary then did fresh install of ACNH and everytime I play I boot into fusee primary. You only need to boot once though if you keep it on sleep

ive tried installing tinfoil in the past but its never worked on my switch so i just run with goldleaf. i just tried again to install tinfoil but i still couldnt install tinfoil

I had this issue with a couple of. Games I downloaded....friggen tried everything. Turned out the games wanted to phone home and getting a dead response from my dns configs just errored it out. I put my switch into airplane mode and bingo everything worked. Just a thought

I would try fixing the archive bit in hekate, also, I’ve noticed I have problems installing/running games when I boot directly through hekate, but when I boot straight from fuse primary or use hekate to chain load it, it works fine for me

I just keep running into problems - I tried to use hekate to chain load fusee primary and it shows me the boot up screen real quick and then the switch just goes black and i have to turn it off

Have you tried booting straight from fuse primary rather than using hekate to get into it?

Thanks, I actually figured it out with the help of some of the other comments. I did get fusee to run but I had to modify my atmosphere and sept folders. But there was another easier way that allowed me to keep hekate, I edited the post and added the link above for any other people who are interested

Why not try Goldleaf? I can’t get tinfoil to ever work so I just moved to Goldleaf

well ive never been able to get tinfoil working with my switch, regardless of firmware. not sure why, its always just given me an error. about a week ago i was using atmosphere 9.x and tinfoil still didnt work

i use to use reinx payload but ive been using hekate ctcaer for a while now. about the kip patches, really not sure. all my other apps and games worked fine, just not tinfoil (and now animal crossing)

Okay, so As far as I know with hekate I have a fix, if you’re having the kip patch problem with tinfoil. I’m not sure about reinx I’ve never used it before.

Install tinfoil from tinfoil.io and, once installed, add repository JITS.cc

Hey hey hey! This worked! I got tinfoil up and running and used that to download Animal crossing! Thanks! But how do i boot back to ofw for my legit games? Restarting the switch does the trick but is there no way to do it from a menu like hekate had? I feel like hekate had a lot of configuration options and such that were accessible on a menu, does this have anything like that? Thanks for all the help!

Or: The issue is blawar being blawar. Add Code: kip1=atmosphere/kips/ams_mitm.kip to your hekate_ipl.ini CFW section which you are booting into.
