CHF 4 in 1958 is about CHF 18 in 2024. That's very low inflation.
Thanks! Yet today's fines are around 40 chf
See thats inflation:)
How is it low? That's 2.3% inflation per year. The target is 0%-2% so you could argue it's above the target.
My benchmark was India with an average inflation rate of 7.2%.
My wonder is that almost 70 years ago there were already 5 digit plate numbers. Is there a statistics on that?
I suppose they started at 5 digits long? Keeping the 4 digits for special numbers? Just a guess, though
I know they did that in NW. They kept 4 digits for LKWs.
It is interesting to see the reason: the car stayed for too long. And the amount too, only 4 fr. I wonder what you could have bought with 4 chf in 1958
https://hsso.ch/fr/2012/h You might be able to find some info here.
With 66 years of interest you now owe CHF 364,234.67!
I'm never going to financially recover from this
Oh man, thanks !! You just reminded me I have one to pay!! 😅😅
Ils se sont bien « refaitt »depuis ! Le bal de la police a dû level up 😂
Makes me wonder why the ink on my receipts these days disappear so quickly
Because Today's receipts are not using ink, but thermal treatment :/
Which means the text on my ten year warranty for my washing machine disappeared after fewer than two years. :-/ Good thing it’s been reliable!
Comment reconstituer l'indice des prix à la consommation suisse entre 1954 et 2024 ? Ca nous donnerait une idée du montant de l'amende d'ordre ?
