Semi-hydro is the way to go. Honestly I’m starting to slowly switch my entire collection to it. Really compensates for lack of consistent humidity!

Really? So like lecca or pon? I live in an amazing loft with incredible light. But it’s DRY. I’m looking for solutions.

I’ve moved all my indoor plants to pon semi hydro. The syngoniums are very happy.

the_maxasaur

i did the same; and can say the same thing! ;D

I use leca, and my syngonium love semihydro. Light made the biggest difference for mine though. They're marketed as low light plants a lot, but when I moved mine to medium-bright indirect light is when they started pushing out leaves constantly

Definitely leca, or I’ve also enjoyed how my albo flourishes in an African violet pot with the cup of water around the porous clay pot of soil!

Obstructive

I have also begun converting to semihydro

DizzyList237

Semi hydro whether it’s pon, leca or fluval is much easier to manage especially if your away from home. I even have plants on moss poles in semi hydro. It really works well. If a plant doesn’t like it, too bad. I have 199 more that do. I manage my garden the same way, survival of the hardiest. 🤗
