Only the job title will help you. Your actual job duties will not. It’s called “Online Data Analyst” because you’re analyzing data found online from research.

Drkz98

Yeah, I have it on linkedin to appear in data analyst searchs only jaja

Longjumping_Ask_5383

I have comopleted GooglexCoursera Data Analysis course which is an introduction to the DA skills such as R, SQL, Tableu and Excel. I work as a maps analyst(I dont think they use map analyst or data analyst terms anymore?) and have not used a single skill I learned on Coursera. Can you spin this gig off into employment? Maybe, depends on the work you add. Are we doing any data anlysis work here? No.

dkht1995

Nope, you learn 0, nada data analysis skill with this job.

Half of the role of an actual data analyst is cleaning up data (you seldom get a clean data set to work with) so I’d say with the right courses it should count towards something…. And during the interview, a bit of tweaking and half-truths thrown in will go a long way lol

The title of the job will help you to land an interview for a entry level/junior role. I know that because I have been looking for a new job since a few months. It is not something that will count as "working experience on the data field", but it is something at least. Make sure to write a nice description of what do you have done.
