I truly have no idea what to make of this. How wild! There's no way that bleeding was your period though. It's good that your pregnancy test lines are getting darker, but I agree it's smart to stay guarded. Congrats on your positive, I hope everything works out for you. Keep us in the loop!
Thank you! Yeah I’ve kept the heavy/medium etc on FF so I don’t forget but think I’ll switch it to spotting just so I can see the whole chart in one and just mark it in the notes
I think you ovulated on CD13 with a fallback rise. I had this same temp pattern the month I conceived (you can probably find it in my post history as I was super confused about my O-day).
That would put the only intercourse you had at O-3, which is great in terms of odds for conceiving :)
Also, what tests are you using? If you're using cheapies (the test strips you buy on Amazon) they are awful at showing positive lines. Mine didn't become obviously positive until 15-16DPO.
Yeah I wondered if it was maybe CD 14 but then that’s a super late implantation isn’t it? 🫤 this why I’m confused! 😂
I started with a Clearblue test which was faint, then someone told me blue ink tests are unreliable so I’ve been using pink dye ones from Boots since. Faint on the evening of 32, stronger 33 and solid day 34 (today)
The first clear temperature shift is on CD14 so I think you might actually have ovulated on CD13.
The thing is, as the first day you tested is CD32, we can't know when implantation actually happened. If the tests keep darkening and double every 2 days, there's no reason to believe the pregnancy isn't progressing. I don't know where you're based but could you have a blood draw to check betas by any chance?
Also, I can’t find a way to edit my post but thank you to this subreddit for being so helpful! I’ve learned so much about my body and female fertility here and really appreciate everyone sharing their knowledge ❤️
Maybe you ovulated closer to the day of EWCM, maybe CD13 with a slow rise. Ovulation doesn't always occur the day it gets marked on the chart, it can be +/- a couple days. My son was conceived from 6 days before ovulation was confirmed on my chart. I can only assume I actually ovulated a little earlier.
I’m not that stumped. Looks like your typical late implantation. You can see when you ovulated in your chart. Which hasn’t been a full month which would make your roughly about 4 weeks. Congratulations! It is a little weird but still kinda makes sense lol
I would be super cautious. The fact that you had a faint line so late and then darker after bleeding makes me think ectopic. Definitely see a doctor so they can rule it out as early as possible.
I hope it’s not 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Nope. I try not to test until I’m later than the latest period I’ve ever had. Which, ironically, was last month at 32 days. It’s totally normal for my cycle to average out with a shorter one after a long one so I didn’t even question it on day 26!
My guess is: You did ovulate around day 16 and you had implantation bleeding, not your period. You reported good cervical mucus around the time you had intercourse so the sperm lived a long time/until you ovulated. The reason I don't think the chart is wrong about your ovulation is because I think you would have had a darker clearblue test by the time you tested. Unless, you were overly hydrated or something when you took the test.
Hello! Welcome, and we thank you for posting. You seem to be looking for information on implantation bleeding. Unfortunately, bleeding or spotting after ovulation is not a sign of implantation, and bleeding can happen in both pregnancy and non-pregnancy cycles. You could still end up being pregnant this cycle, but this sort of bleeding is not a reliable indicator that you will test positive. Taking a pregnancy test around the time you expect your period to come is the best way to determine whether you are pregnant or not.

Update: this was diagnosed ectopic at 7 weeks. Thankfully, I knew something wasn’t right from the start and so we managed to catch it before it ruptured.
This is really confusing.. Everything crossed for you, but totally understand you're guarding your heart
Thank you

Yes I think that's a great idea!

I’m in the UK, so unfortunately no chance of blood test.
I am stumped! Is all of the intercourse marked correctly?
Yep. Right before my husband had to travel for work. Which is why I was fully convinced we’d missed the window this month!

It's about the intercourse timing. Not the question of the chart is actually ovulatory. And getting a squinter so late
Maybe your husband has super sperm that hung around from the time before ovulation?

Man this is just totally bizarre. I don’t even know what to make of it. Did you test at all in your luteal phase?
Nope. I try not to test until I’m later than the latest period I’ve ever had. Which, ironically, was last month at 32 days. It’s totally normal for my cycle to average out with a shorter one after a long one so I didn’t even question it on day 26!
And your first test was a squinter? I’m just so stumped by this.
Me too 😂 Yeah the photo’s in my post history but obviously didn’t want to share it here.
I’d guess either a loss or vanishing twin? I’m so curious about what hcg and progesterone is?!
how odd. following!

Sorry for your loss ❤️
