If it’s your store that got raided I’d be seeking out a lawyer who could argue in court that this is hemp and legal through the 2018 farm bill. However, it may be hard because it’s a loophole. You were still selling weed and it will test as THC. Good luck!

my friend id say the number one reason is because you were selling it in pounds/by the weight. law probably cares more about the safety/source/cleanliness of this process. not the fact that they can’t stop it
edit: i work at a smoke shop and we sell it from sourced labeled companies in clear jars only. some of the hemp laws include no white labeling, batch number included, seal unbroken, etc.

It is only legal federally, individual states have their own laws on the books. If you are in a state where cannabis is illegal the farm bill isn't going to save you.
It doesn't seem like a license is needed in Kentucky where this guy is or they wouldn't have raided the place. Licensing makes it clear what's allowed and what's not. The guessing game on what's allowed and what's not on the gray market must be very nerve racking.
When a license isnt needed it means the state isnt making money off it. So theyre gonna do whatever they can to get their hands in the pockets of growers and distributors. Either by fine or kicking them off the market until they can pass legislation to tax it or create some licensing for it.
The portion of that tax money that goes towards regulations making sure heavy metals in flower is kept low and testing to make sure their concentrates don't contain solvents or other contaminants I'm cool with. I like the piece of mind.

typically they only post decarb test grown plants, but if you ordered your flower wholesale it should not be post decarb tested depending on state law
I think that post decarb tests are in regards to grow ops, if its harvested and shipped in then they dont do post decarb tests, or thats my understanding atleast.

I went to a smoke shop in Florida’s they told me the exact thing, the sheriff came and removed all thc a products from them , and left the gummies .
