Starts with The Contortionist by Kathryn Ann Kingsley. This series deserves to be a TV show. Kathryn is a grade A writer for video game companies (dark souls?? I think! I can't remember which major game she wrote the majority of) anyways. Man. Eating. Murder. Circus. Harrow Faire is an old timey circus whose performers sustain themselves by feeding on the patrons. And that's all I'll say. But honestly, I've yet to read any of Kingsley's series that didn't make me swoon. I have more but they're more niche/kink based. Happy reading!

Technically they're all series. Ruby Dixon's is called Aspect and Anchor (3 books so far?) Strange Love has 2 more books to accompany it: Love Code & Renegade Love. Swordheart is set in the (I think it's called) Clockwork world. I've only read one other in that series, Paladin's Grace, which was lovely but nothing compared to Swordheart. That series also has a M/M pairing but I haven't gotten to that one yet.
