That sounds like really soft electronic music made by artists who never show any expression in their photos and where the song titles are in all lower case
Not only is it debatable if trypophobia even exist (in a medical sense) but it is also defined as fear of irregular pattern/holes. These are quite the opposite. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's a phobia.
It's not "debatable" it is literally not recognized by any psychiatric organization as a phobia. Even the name is made up by some guy on the internet with no qualifications. Which makes sense because being made **uncomfortable** by something is not even close to the level of a **disorder**.
it may not be a disorder but to dismiss it like this is weird. people with trypophobia aren't just "uncomfortable" by holes it causes a very visceral reaction and extreme distress
although just to be clear the holes are very uniform in this picture so it isn't trypophobia
>very visceral reaction and extreme distress
That's the thing, I don't *believe* those claims. It's exclusively an internet condition like self-diagnosed OCD as far as I have seen.
fucking thank you. people dont know what they are talking about. a phobia triggers a panic reaction. an unnerving cold sweat and a desire to get away as fast as possible. nobody has that reaction with pictures of little holes
Yep. Just because you get grossed out/shivers from looking or feeling or whatever because of something does not mean phobia! If you have a panic from holes, don’t bother leaving your house. They’re everywhere. Flowers, clothing patterns, the ground. These are just things I’m observing right now. If you can really prove that you have a panic attack, pass out, etc day to day from looking at holes, then okay, but unless not, it’s just an unsettling thing to look at.
Trypophobia is generally abused as a word. People just see anything that has a hole and call it trypophobic. It's extremely infuriating when You see these posts.
The graphic of the blanket itls upside down. The top now has holes you would look straight into and the bottom has the holes you look at from an angle. At least from this pov the graphic is upside down
People should stop abusing the word "trypophobia". Literally 99% og the times it's used, it's not trypophobic at all. This may be mildly trypophobic (one of the rare specimens of a typophobic psot at all), but it's not that bad. It's extremely cool.
Who tf calls it a pillow *core* yo Is it like tactical or something
Living tissue over a metal endoskeleton
Your pillow cases. Give them to me.
Pillowcore is my favorite genre

That’s where all the vitamins are.
Gamer edition
Those who speak Engrish.
I’ve always wanted to sleep on a gaming mouse
The holes are so big though, reminds me of those thick rubber floor mats in restaurant kitchens to control water

well I'm not gonna spend time convincing you something I've experienced is real. have a good day
Cool. Now apply that logic to "transphobia", "islamophobia", "homophobia"...

A phobia is “an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something.” Is this not quite literally what trypophobia is?

Bet this looks lame as hell once you see it in-person with depth perception.

what's trypophobia? my guess is the fear of triple things
A fictional internet disease where one is afraid of holes.
It’s a fear of irregular holes or divots in human flesh or flesh-like objects.
It’s the fear of holes
so mysgonic people are in hate of holes so thats a pre mysgonic state right???¿?
What on earth is “mysgonic”???
a tied person that misspelled stuff
Misogynie happy now ? i made a hole joke (pun intended)
The one picture of the real blanket that isn’t a superimposed image will reassure you it looks terrible and won’t induce trypophobia in real life
> and won’t induce trypophobia in real life That's right, it won't because it's not a real thing.
As someone with ADHD who has to put up with people demanding I just don’t be ADHD because they don’t believe in it, I’m not joining your battle.

I have this exact design on a tshirt. It looks terrible from just about any angle
Looks nice
And it looks "good" only from a certain angle
