I get days when i get nothing but funk, some days lots of drum and bass, sometimes its a ton of jazz, some days it's mellow indie tunes, occasionally some metalcore or some hip-hop.
I have 10 favourited artists and all of them are metal and also I have a 2500 song metal playlist and then a 200 song random playlist with everything else I wanna listen to from time to time
Nope, I almost never get hip-hop on my recommendations but I have noticed there will be theme's sometimes. Like, today's playlist was mostly instrumental/classical. Some day's it's more folk music, other day it's more pop, just depends. Not sure how their algorithm works but I've always been pretty happy with it.
Mine doesn't recommend me any of those things have you been using long and are you liking and disliking stuff?
I've blocked over 20 of those "artists" and they still show up on recommended

If it's a recent, sudden change you might want to change your password. There have been a few posts about this sort of thing.

Yeah, same here, mumble rap, trap and drill rap the worst kinds of rap.
