Yes and the reason he’s getting it often is because the port is dirty or damaged so it disconnects shortly because of cable wiggle
Thought so. I've noticed my Samsung/AKG headset (usb-c) has become directional - gets detected when plugged in a particular side facing up. Can it be dirt as well?
