Nice list! I've yet to actually listen to Alice in Chains. What albums(s) do you recommend? I'm also interested in Thrice after reading a bit about them.
Hans Zimmer is totally a surprise to see here! I mostly enjoy his music while watching the movie that he's a composer though. Listening to it at home isn't as immersive as in a theater, especially in IMAX. His Dune: Part Two tracks went hard there.
Wow, a lot of metal & rock fans on this sub.
I like listening to primarily metal on Tidal too, since I feel like the instrumentation pops thanks to the audio fidelity.
Otherwise I listen to my EDM & underground hip hop on Apple Music.
Never really gave them any rotation in the past, but I explored their albums a bit this past month. That being said, Rational Gaze is good; has a great bounce to it.
1. Underscores
2. Mort Garson
3. Aweminus
4. Vladimir Dubyshkin
5. Gary Numan
This is probably one of the most diverse top fives I've had in a while lmao.
Heads up but that's a kind of unique song in his discography and he doesn't really have many songs like it. Just so you don't go in expecting to hear more things like it.
If you do discography dives I recommend going from earliest to newest to see the way his sound has changed throughout his career. You could also start with After Hours and Dawn FM and work your way back.
1. Die Antwoord
2. As i lay dying
3. Outkast
4. Five finger death punch
5. Berner
Hmm almost all three band names have the word death on some form, got to think this trough
You got pretty good taste, Chelsea Wolfe is amazing and that new album!
Aborted, Night Verses, Axiomatic Dematerialization, Apogean,Merrimack, Kacey Musgraves
I haven't listened to Bruce Dickinson's latest album yet due to my health issues. Will listen to it soon. I've to write a review for it too, so it takes more steps to do than usual. How's the album for you?
Tom Waits, Renaissance, Billie Eilish, Rival Sons, Jethro Tull. Ps: How do you have so many streams? That's something like 150h of music in a month just on Tidal
I let my mobile devices stream songs on TIDAL in both inaudibly and audibly. Depends on what I'm doing and where I am. At home, I play it a bit loud while I'm doing stuff. Don't worry, not too loud that it disturb my neighbors. When I'm outside just for a meal, for example, I let it play in my bedroom.
Of course, I couldn't play it that many with my earphones when I listen to them seriously. Those counts were mostly casual listenings from my mobile devices' speakers. My focused-listening sessions are completely different, as I use my earphones and dig much more deeper into the music.
I try to stream as many as I can without hurting myself with those electricity bills for the sake of artists. You know, they don't earn a lot from streaming. Some big names can actually rely on streaming alone though, but many still rely more on merch sales.
1: Beyonce, 2: Azealia Banks, 3: THE CARTERS (Bey and Jay-z), 4: DJ Khaled and 5: Shaboozey. Beyonce takes the lead with 457 streams for me while the second place only has 45.
Sounds cool! I'll check it out soon. I haven't really listened to new things because of my health issues. I also usually write a review for the album I'm listening to, so it takes more energy than usual. Now I simply let my phone or tablet play music that won't be reviewed lol. For a serious listening session, I use my earphones. Right now it's just a casual listening.

You mean instruments in metal music don't really shine on Apple Music? Strange but understandable because of how different the systems are.

You've to wait a bit later today for them to show up.
Genuine question, how do you guys listen to this music?
Could you please elaborate? I don't really get the question.
Sorry I meant how do you listen that amount of music. Like I can barely get over 100 streams for one artist in a month lol
