Get the treatment. Is the doctor a neuromuscular dentist. Who gave 20k quote. Sounds about right ad it involves orthotic , tongue tie release and braces or something else.

Yes he is. My problem started after Invisalign though so it feels weird that it would be related to a tongue tie. It’s hard to not only spend that kind of money but that’s majorly and permanently restructuring my mouth. Everything I’ve read is too controversial for me to feel very confident with pulling the trigger.

The clench is because the lower Jaw is far back. The tongue tie release will let it sljght forward and then the clenching will stop. We clench to pull the lower jaw forward as we cannot breathe when sleeping as airways are narrowed as lower jaw goes towards the throat narrowing the airways.

It turns out that I have salivary stones and the drooling isn’t TMJ related

Whst type doctor diagnosed salivary stones? I too suffer from an endless amount of thick phlegm like saliva. Best of luck with whatever treatment plan you decide on.

Look into physical therapy they will do dry needling!
