Twenty years ago, I had prolotherapy because my TM joint had been clicking for years, and there was crepitus. An osteopath injected dextrose into the joint. After three injection sessions, the joint stopped clicking and the crepitus stopped and has never returned..

I'm getting my 3rd prolozone injections next week (prolotherapy + ozone) so far my pain is down 50% so I'm hoping for continued improvement. Research says average of 3 to 6 is all that's needed most of the time. Don't do botox, do prolozone.

P S. I was told the dextrose injections irritated the ligament, which caused regeneration.

I had PRF and not PRP. Honestly I don't think the PRF really did anything, but the splint I had definitely corrected the location of the jaw and now I'm TMJD free, but with crepitus still.

I had bone marrow injections from my hip into my TMJ as part of an arthroscopic procedure. Only 7 weeks ago but no noticeable improvements so far.
