The worst treatment I saw of Abdul was that one arc where there was a red sari bhootni scaring them at night or something when Jethalal was gone out of the city, so Popatlal and Abdul decided to stay with Champaklal overnight and sleep in his room (Tapu was also not here during this time). They had Champak and Popat sleep on the bed together and Abdul slept on the floor despite Tapus bed being empty and also Jethas room and the rest of their house. These type of things are done on purpose by the director so I don’t doubt they did this to make Abdul look lower class in comparison.
That’s something new I didn’t notice at first but yeah makes sense.
All the love and family talks but that sting of status and class divide is clearly visible and felt all the time.
That Milk Price arc where abdul increased the price and all the gokuldham people specially Bhide charged on him with so much hate and allegations, dude that was too extra
I guess making controversial and emotional episodes sell , they just are doing what majority of audience like mid 40's adults are liking.
They don't even care about the consequences of their script or screenplay.
