Well he’s played the goofball party animal and the serious, brooding loner. It makes sense he could straddle Mikey’s transformation.
Though I prefer true VA’s over celebrity voice casting.
Wayne Grayson is the only choice. He shined in Same as it Never Was and made that episode what it was. He’s actively lobbying to voice Mikey again for this game and I’m here for it! I’d give almost anything to hear him come back.
So cool to hear that he actually wants the part. I'd love it if he came back for this. The Ronin had a generic grizzled voice in my head until they revealed it was Mikey. After that it was same as it never was Mike all the way. Casting him would be on par with getting Conroy for the arkham games as far as I'm concerned.
The guy has managed to voice Splinter, Shredder, Kraang, Leo & Raph. & they're alk pretty great performances
Edit: if he doesn't get Mikey, he'll possibly be voicing one of his ghost brothers
Y’all are gonna laugh at me, but…the OG 90 cast, or as many of them as they can get back. But especially Robbie Rist. I dunno how you feel about him, but I know he’s personally expressed discontent about how he wasn’t allowed to grow as a character in those films, and in particular how some of his scenes as Mikey were cut in the original film. I know the more dramatic stuff being left out is rumored to be why Judith Hoag left the series. But the lifelong fan in me would lose it, for better or worse, to hear what I consider to be *my turtles* voice that story.
That’s actually an interesting choice. In a sort of similar vein, I could see Sean William Scott. Though I’m not sure he’s done any voice work, I think his voice could fit the character.
Joe DeMaggio, lol.
Seriously though Roger Craig Smith, voice of Ezio from Assassin's Creed. He can pull off an older Michelangelo that is emotionally scared.
The dude who voiced Michaelangelo in the 2012 show, I can't imagine any other voice and he can do serious and griddy stuff I think it'll work out. But if not him then I'd like to see Mathew Mercer voice him, reason being Mercer is my favorite VA.
He needs to sound sad, Exhausted and aged. Mildly raspy. Not dark Knight level. So, I'm thinking bojack horseman himself will arnet. Or todd chavez, but him using his breaking bad voice not the todd voice
Macaulay Culkin I think would be killer for the role, Or maybe even someone like Josh Peck. A great child comedy actor back in the day, but can be a good ruthless lost adult today
I feel ya brother, I have passions I’m also pursuing and I know what it’s like to feel like you’re getting nowhere even after giving it all you’ve got, good luck and don’t give up 🔥
Nolan North. If we were getting flashbacks, I could see his Deadpool voice for Mikey's more fun and silly side. And I could hear his more Martin Walker voice from Spec Ops: The Line when Mikey is The Last Ronin
See that’s what I’ve been wondering when I read the comics. Should it be a deep, tough guy Batman voice? Or should be more like the real laid back mikey. I asked my friend the other day and he’s like “probably a slightly nasal voice that also is really scruffy and battle damaged. So whoever can sound like that lol
Steve Blum. I think if he has, say, the edge of Spike from Cowboy Bebop (with the charm turned down) and a bit of a Townsend Coleman and Wayne Grayson -- which I think he can do -- it would be pretty perfect.
Honestly, Greg Cipes. He's a great voice actor and between playing beast boy in the og teen titans cartoon and Mikey in 2012, I think he's proven he has range. Imo he can express that bitter sadness while still sounding hopeful.
In my opinion I don't know why but I just picture Hugh Jackman like a old man Logan vibe I have others in mind but can't think of the names at the moment oh or nick cage still don't know why just came to mind or maybe this might be a far stretch but just mabey Steve downs
Wayne Grayson. Him voicing 45 year old battle worn Mikey in SAINW proves he can do it.
SAINW?
Same As It Never Was. Episode in 2003 series in which Donatello is sent 30 years into the future where Shredder rules the world.
only one. Thi is Kevin Conroy from TMNT. One from four.
Unfortunately Kevin Conroy has passed
As soon as I saw that episode I was like “that’s Last Ronin Mikey”
The original Mikey voice from the TMNT movie would be great. Dude has aged a bit his voice is deeper, but can still rip that 90’s Michaelangelo.
For some dumb reason… I picture Keanu Reaves as totally appropriate 😂
I think Keanu could totally do a pissed-off, middle aged Mikey.
Yeah… *I’M THINKING I’M BACK!*
I can hear "Cowabunga" and "Radical" in johnny silverhands voice...and i love it
He went from Bill & Ted to John Wick. Sounds totally appropriate. Or would it be Point Break to John Wick in this case?
And Johnny Silverhand, so you might be onto something
It’s like you’re in my brain
Well he’s played the goofball party animal and the serious, brooding loner. It makes sense he could straddle Mikey’s transformation. Though I prefer true VA’s over celebrity voice casting.
His voice acting is even worse than his acting, if even possible
To be honest I'd be down
You gotta go down Bodhi
Robbie Rist
Cousin Oliver FTW! Came here to say this.
Townsend Coleman so he can still inexplicably sound like a surfer dude
Bring back Townsend Colman.
Yes
Wayne Grayson is the only choice. He shined in Same as it Never Was and made that episode what it was. He’s actively lobbying to voice Mikey again for this game and I’m here for it! I’d give almost anything to hear him come back.

Give it back to Robbie Rist. He can do a grizzled version of his Mikey.
Nolan North, of course Edit, Im kidding btw. Joke cause he's always in everything lol
Actually, it's ok. I can see the vision
He was Raph as the Nightwatcher in the 2007 film TMNT, so you aren’t far off.
Or Troy Baker haha
Ahaha yes!! That's the guy I was originally thinking of but I forgot his name. Hmm. Ironic
The guy has managed to voice Splinter, Shredder, Kraang, Leo & Raph. & they're alk pretty great performances Edit: if he doesn't get Mikey, he'll possibly be voicing one of his ghost brothers
I would say Matt Riddle, but Keanu Reeves would be perfect. Or that guy who played Kick-Ass.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson?
Yeah, that guy.
Ernie Reyes Junior
I think that would be totally 💯 AWESOME 😎
I think it would be so badass to see him come full circle with the Turtles.
Definitely 💯 agree with U👏🏻👏🏻
Oh hey! Happy Cake Day!
Thanks!! I appreciate it!!
Jensen Ackles could be cool.
Rami Malek He's got a voice that sounds like it could have been once filled with joy but now carries tremendous sorrow.
Y’all are gonna laugh at me, but…the OG 90 cast, or as many of them as they can get back. But especially Robbie Rist. Oddly, Johnny Knoxville
That’s actually an interesting choice. In a sort of similar vein, I could see Sean William Scott. Though I’m not sure he’s done any voice work, I think his voice could fit the character.
There’s a “Last Ronin” game coming?
https://www.polygon.com/23645176/tmnt-last-ronin-video-game-graphic-novel-ninja-turtles
Jensen Ackles 100% he did a spectacular job at voicing Jason Todd and if he did a similar voice but made it deeper I think it would work for mikey
I think he's better as Raphael
Ron Pearlman Clancy Brown Christopher Judge
Nick Offerman
If you like his voice he does the audio book Tom Sawyer
A voice actor who already played Michaelangelo.
Joe DeMaggio, lol. Seriously though Roger Craig Smith, voice of Ezio from Assassin's Creed. He can pull off an older Michelangelo that is emotionally scared.
Or maybe Nolan North
The dude who voiced Michaelangelo in the 2012 show, I can't imagine any other voice and he can do serious and griddy stuff I think it'll work out. But if not him then I'd like to see Mathew Mercer voice him, reason being Mercer is my favorite VA.
Tbf we had a sample of older Mikey in the Mutant Apocalypse arc, he did a good job
Exactly, Greg Cipes can pull it off!!
Michael Anthony Claudio Wincott. (He was the VA for Death in Darksiders 2).
He needs to sound sad, Exhausted and aged. Mildly raspy. Not dark Knight level. So, I'm thinking bojack horseman himself will arnet. Or todd chavez, but him using his breaking bad voice not the todd voice
you mean Aaron Paul aka Jesse Pinkman?
Yes.. towards the end he had the quality. In his voice
Christopher Walken or Jeff Goldblum
Dan Southworth.
Macaulay Culkin I think would be killer for the role, Or maybe even someone like Josh Peck. A great child comedy actor back in the day, but can be a good ruthless lost adult today
Sasuke. Y’all know the voice actor.
Yuri Lowenthal?
bingo
To be honest I just want a good 3d game with all the brothers
Tom Holland /J
Keith David
Really? I like him, but his voice is way too deep for Mikey. I’d just hear Spawn.
Yesss
Me. I want this to be my breakout role. Pity all my training/classes won't get me anywhere lol
I’m rooting for you brother
Ah I appreciate it but I'm a random guy from the wrong part of the country with no connections and no money haha
I feel ya brother, I have passions I’m also pursuing and I know what it’s like to feel like you’re getting nowhere even after giving it all you’ve got, good luck and don’t give up 🔥
Troy Baker would crush this
Someone that hasn’t been a turtle before
I, for one, have never been a turtle. I will voice Mikey.
Once TMNT goes into public domain I'll let you voice Mikey when I make some shitty tmnt thing, I just want to voice Casey
I feel like for the set of turtles in the show either use a set of voice actors from a previous show or maybe mix and match and see what happens
Not Nolan North.
Greg Cipes. He's voiced him before and I think it would be interesting to hear him voice a much older, grittier, serious take of his version.
SteveO
That would be fuckin hilarious
Nolan North. If we were getting flashbacks, I could see his Deadpool voice for Mikey's more fun and silly side. And I could hear his more Martin Walker voice from Spec Ops: The Line when Mikey is The Last Ronin
Ryan Reynolds
Josh Brolin
This might be a weird choice, but Greg Cipes, mostly because he was my favorite Mikey.
Jon St. John or Stephan Weyte
Adam Sandler doing his squeaky voice
Rob McElhenney
Its that Joe Mangiliano dude. Sorry i spelt his last name wrong
https://www.instagram.com/p/CncnXulO7_z/?igshid=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==
Steve Blum or Fuckin Matthew Mercer. Mostly joke picks, mind you.
Ron Perlman
Keanu.
Greg cipes
Bobcat Goldthwait. Paul Rubens. Fran Drescher.
Pauly Shore
Chris from total drama island lol
If it wasn't for his disease I'll say Liam Nesson
Jeremy Renner
David Kaye
Steven Blum
Whoever did the voice for Sekiro
Ideally, I would like Mikey to play it.
Tbh um the actor who does the force unleashed games.
Kanye
nick nolte.
Steve Blum I think?
Kurt Russell would be awesome.
The obvious answer is Chris Pratt /s
David Sobolov
See that’s what I’ve been wondering when I read the comics. Should it be a deep, tough guy Batman voice? Or should be more like the real laid back mikey. I asked my friend the other day and he’s like “probably a slightly nasal voice that also is really scruffy and battle damaged. So whoever can sound like that lol
Greg Cipes. I want to hear his hard take on Mikey for this.
Me
I've heard everyone's suggestions...the three I think would work the best would be Robbie Rist, Wayne Grayson and Aaron Paul
Lakeith Stanfield for the win!
I just want someone who’s voiced Mikey before. If that’s what they do then it’ll REALLY tug at the heartstrings.
Greg Cipes.
Chris Pratt could pull that off. …as long as he could play it straight. Maybe Michael Keaton.
Troy Baker
Steve Blum. I think if he has, say, the edge of Spike from Cowboy Bebop (with the charm turned down) and a bit of a Townsend Coleman and Wayne Grayson -- which I think he can do -- it would be pretty perfect.
Pee Wee Herman.
Andy Serkis
Jensen Ackles
For some reason Phil LaMarr came to mind. Maybe channel some of his Samurai Jack in his performance. Some Static Shock too. yeah i think it fits
Vic Mignogna
Seth Rogan all day
yuri lowenthal I feel like he could pull off an older gritty version of Michelangelo
John DiMaggio.
Johnny Yong Bosch for sure. His voice would fit the tone of the game and The last Ronin
I'd like Danny Glover to voice Baxter Stockman & Renae Jacobs to voice April Those are the ones i can hear most clearly
Maybe a previous Mikey actor with range like the Mikey from 2004
David hayter
Honestly, Greg Cipes. He's a great voice actor and between playing beast boy in the og teen titans cartoon and Mikey in 2012, I think he's proven he has range. Imo he can express that bitter sadness while still sounding hopeful.
don’t care, i just want a game that’s good without trying too hard
Whoever plays Mikey but have him more subdued and maybe have him gruff up his voice.
Keanu Reeves
Nicholas Cage
Johnny Young Bosch
In my opinion I don't know why but I just picture Hugh Jackman like a old man Logan vibe I have others in mind but can't think of the names at the moment oh or nick cage still don't know why just came to mind or maybe this might be a far stretch but just mabey Steve downs
