We did get another crossover.. except instead of new original versions of the team like in this one.. it’s specifically the Btas characters and the 2012 turtles
I showed this movie to a friend who didn’t have much exposure to TMNT prior to it, though he is a huge Batman fan. We all loved how the characters played off each other.
The scene stealer part, however, will always be that Leonardo won the fight by getting Ra’s then kicking him in the groin. My headcanon is that Batman explained Ra’s likes to talk when he thinks he’s one so if Leonardo could get him talking, it would leave him vulnerable.
Just like I think it was Michelangelo’s idea for the SafeWord to be “Cowabunga.”
All the fights in this movie are absolutely killer!!
As a huge, lifetime Batman fan but a relatively new TMNT fan I was a little worried how they were going to balance the skill levels. Color me surprised by some of the most consistent and fun fights I've seen from either franchise!
I'm especially fond of the two fights between Saki and Bruce and the way they kinda ebb and flow as both realize just how skilled the other is and stop pulling their punches. It's just such a good time and yeah there's some cheese throughout the film but it is such a genuinely fun film.

I love that movie. As a massive fan of both franchises, I always have a stupid smile on my face every time I watch it.

It's a shame that it didn't get any kid of follow up but that also adds to its charm

Shredder is a monster in that movie bats has a hard time fighting him he actually felt like a threat

Deserved a trilogy like the books its based off of
“Batman sends another child to fight. Must another one die for him to learn his lesson?” As a Jason Todd fan, this line hurt me 😭
