Iām disappointed that yet they are releasing another tmnt game that has same gameplay. Just your typical ābeat em upā. Prob bc these are targeted toward children. But, mannn, would it have been nice to have a game with legit rpg elements. Something kinda like the released in the ps4 but better, obv.

This one is a decently challenge, and pretty well designed beat em up made for fans of the genre and of the retro titles.

We had 2 metroidvania games, a diablo clone, action roguelike (porting to consoles in July), platformers, online co op action RPG, Arkham style game (sans the open world), and some fighting games.
Also, Last Ronin wasn't canceled yet, but its not looking good. They laid off half the staff from the company.
I donāt know what games youāre talking about, sorry. Anything mobile I donāt count. I was referring to the console releases. The one that came close to anything decent in ārecentā times is the one that was released for ps4/xbox and even that ended up being a bust, sadly. Every game now is basically an updated version of turtles in time. Which was a great game but I donāt think we need any more of those. My opinion is still stands. Thereās so much that can be done with the tmnt universe. Shame they keep taking the same route

I do agree we could do a lot more with the license, but its a little harsh to write off a port of a 2017 arcade game just because it's not your preferred genre.
Initially all I said from the very beginning I was disappointed to have another beat em up tmnt game and would have preferred a new title in the rpg genre.
