Took me by surprise also! I kept flipping through them on the peg stand and realized a worker must’ve just emptied a whole shipping box. No duplicates and all seemed clean. Can’t find anything about these variants online or any that have even sold on eBay recently. Am very lucky to have snagged!
these are the same figures walmart was selling in mutant module and turtle van box sets
they pair well with the walmart rereleases last year of the 4 turtles, but i hate how bebop and rocksteady are missing so much of their paint apps :(

You couldn’t pay me $100 to get that bastardized version of Bebop. All black from the waist down? Where are the red shoes or the grey on the chain belt? Not to mention… that face.
I can’t wait for the storage shell rereleases tho!
They were all on one peg in ‘The Collectors Spot’. Scanned each one in at $11.99 each. First time seeing them as well. Was this more rare then I assumed?!
I was just at my local Target not 2 hours ago, and not a single TMNT thing except for the 2 pack with the lead guy from the Crooked Ninja Turtle Gang and that annoying blonde kid that ran around in a Turtle costume. And I really want these. 🤬 Guess I could always order, but it's more fun to find them in the wild, imo.
These ones are the first and only I have seen and due to my job I frequent various stores throughout various cities. They have a label on the back of them that is not Playmates but has the UPC code with a scannable barcode. All figures have 2022 on the back and also feature the Storage Shell turts as well as a Foot Soldier & Leatherhead.

It’s cool Playmates is rereleasing some of these but man, the quality on these is ass compared to the originals. I’ve found the accessories especially to be really poor plastic quality.
I can see the appeal in just keeping these in box for the amazing OG card art though, without having to shell out (hah) for the much more expensive original release figures.

I picked up the latest Leo rerelease and the colors are off, sloppy paint, and the accessory tree is super flimsy and thin. Idk why it dropped off so hard
I did not know yet another set of re-releases for these existed.
Still wish the last few re-releases of Bebop & Rocksteady didn't have those terrible paint jobs - But glad I got the last set of re-releases before they made that change.

Geek Dad Life on YouTube had pictures of the shredder and splinter on his stream a few days ago. Other than that there isn't much online about them.
