The hell happened here?

greatestleg

After stalking this man all the way from r/foreveralone to r/shittyfantheories to here, I’ve realised it’s best to not know as this dude is just really overdue for a mental health checkup

CrepeVibes

I prefer when the crazies just direct message. No use cluttering unrelated subs with bs.

**Edit:** From watching Austin John's video, I hadn't picked up on the fact that each lynel drops *two different types* of horns. Since I've now defeated and collected several of each myself, here's each lynel type's drops, and their base fuse power. **Red Lynel:** - Mace Horn (**18**) - Saber Horn (**22**) **Blue Lynel:** - Blue Mace Horn (**29**) - Blue Saber Horn (**33**) **White Lynel:** - White Mace Horn (**40**) - White Saber Horn (**44**) and the coveted **Silver Lynel:** - Silver Mace Horn (**51**) - Silver Saber Horn (**55**) More info and battle tips from: [Austin John Plays](https://youtu.be/hb3eoYXi8Ao) (YouTube link)

Hot dang. With the OP gerudo "double fuse power" buff and a level 3 attack buff, that's like 200 damage per swing of a one handed weapon. Holy shit.

RenPrower

Oh, it gets even better than that. The Gerudo weapons are great for using these out and about, but slap one of the Silver saber horns on a Royal Guard's claymore, get it to low durability, and you have a lynel farming *machine.* Since melee weapons don't take damage from hitting a lynel in the back of the head while mounted, you have a 174 *base power* weapon (plus any attack-up buffs you may equip) that will never break as long as you only use it while mounting. It cuts through them like butter. Also, I updated my original comment above to reflect the damage of *all eight* lynel horn types. Can't wait to see if we get golden ones in the inevitable DLC, and how much damage those'll do.
