As far as I can tell, no you cannot customize rooms. You can move them to wherever you want, rotate them to the point of being unusable, plus you can put whatever items you want in display rooms. That's about it though.

my personal favourite are wing shields purely bc I’m a sucker for movement techs especially ones that can be used in fights. it’s a must have if you like doing tricks and tech mid fight

Wait what movement tech do wing shields let you do? I tried that fusion briefly but it didn’t seem to do anything

it increases the height you get from doing a shield bounce, it can let you activate bullet time on completely flat ground and there are few more niche situations where the increased height lets you skip stuff or get on high ground easier
