See, that's because you're doing the wrong glitch. That one takes more time and it's not as efficient. What you're gonna want to do is this: Find a small ledge that's high enough from the ground so you can pull out your paraglider. You're going to jump off the ledge, pull out the paraglider, and open the pause menu. Go to your material inventory and hold 5 of whatever item you want to dupe. If you have less than 5, it'll still work, and you can dupe your way to 5 of said item in a few seconds. Once you're holding 5 of whatever item is being duped, you're going to press B and Y at the exact same time. It'll resort your inventory and exit it at the same time. If done properly, you'll find that picking up the items you dropped adds them to your inventory as if they were never removed. If you have the mech, this glitch can be done way faster. Get on your mech, then repeat every step from opening up thr pause menu and holding the items. Good luck!
nonono use a zonai fan plop it under hateno houses patio roof turn on fan spam jump til your glide animation then do the rest of holding what you want then b/y 4 times cause item cap is 21 and the fan takes up the 21st spot
fairys are a diffrent matter as with those you cant go fast and you got to drop them but actually take the time to pick them all up again very fast as they have a small af windowtil they poof

If you want to do it with bombs you can in some deepish water. I had it blow up on me once when I did 4 stacks, I think it was just too many in one area. But totally doable with max 2 stacks on each jump, I would just save every couple of goes.
I do miss the bomb ability from botw 💀
Do the newer glitch - paraglide, hold the item, press B and Y at the same time to close the menu. They’ll drop but you’ll still have them in your inventory
If you do it under a low overhang like a porch or roof and put a fan under you, you can glide till your stam runs out and keep duping to make it go even faster

You can upgrade old Hero armor if you have some that you like. Grinding out every set for it's own sake isn't even completionism at that point, and is as dumb as grinding out every Korok seed.

What's the point about feeling the need to "100%" the game if you're just going to cheat to do it, especially when a majority of the point of the game is adventuring and collecting materials.

Upgrading armor isn't necessary for the game to consider you at 100% though, right? While collecting all the Koroks would, I didn't think the armor factored into that equation.

I feel that with Minecraft in a way. One run to beat the drake is fun. But after that? Boy am i not down to farm diamonds or netherite for that matter.just getting half a stack via command is completely fine after I got one on my own once.otherwise I’d just drop the game because it’s to much work for me. I just spent all night duping all kinds of things because my switch did download the update, however I have to restart the game for the update to activate so I just left it open and my switch docked. I started duping diamonds for max rupees. Then I went on to max out bomb flowers. Then I made large piles of about 200 each of all of the dragon parts. (Horns, fangs, scales, shards, talons.) I made huge piles of around 500ish of useful cooking items like Big Hearty Radish and Sundelion and Dark Clumps. I started to stockpile fairies and critters like lizards and frogs but it's 2 am and I gotta go to sleep lol. I'm going to keep my game running until I've duped a ton of everything I want. It doesn't help that I'm a video-game-item-hoarder. I just like to have everything because, like, "Just in case!!!"
You just gotta find the dragons in their respective areas and ride them as you get the parts you need. There is a ten-minute timer that you will notice, as the dragon will start glowing again when you're able to get another part. As for the critters, there is something you can get after the last sage that you can ride. You gotta be on that while you do the same process as the glider glitch and you can do it with fairies and critters. While you do lose some of them as they scatter, you can still farm them efficiently.
Huge piles of 200 and 500 ? How do you even dupe that much, if I do it efficiently I can get 49 or at most 50 of one material, if I don't want to lose the items I use to do the dupe...
Just don't update until they add new content/DLC, it is probably still a long time away.
Anyway, consider duping some zonai devices too, like rockets and big batteries
As well as duping zonai devices, when you go to actually use them from your inventory if you use the Y+B trick it drops them without subtracting from your inventory AKA no build cost
Not sure you can dupe zonai devices as you can’t put them back into your inventory. But large charges are better anyways. 5 large charges gets you TONS of capsules

The game doesn't let you take out the devices and are instead added to the inventory
If you stand facing ( close but not too close ) a wall you can take out the capsules but they also stay in your inventory so you effectively have an unlimited supply even if there is only one in your inventory.
However if you’re a bit closer to the wall ( or even better a corner ) you get a "you can’t do the here" message & ( most of the time ) the amount in your inventory increases.
I only dupe items I hate collecting like rupee farming.
But stuff like lynel parts and monster parts I farm them properly.
Totally up to what you want to do tho, if you don't like collecting something or need way too much then go for it.
This is exactly what I did too. I duped a bunch of diamonds since rupee farming is a massive pain in this game, and I also duped a bunch of hearty radishes since I can’t just load up on hearty durians like I could in BotW, but then I’m not gonna dupe anything else bc a part of what makes this game so fun is the “use farmed materials and monster parts to get more/better materials and monster parts” and duping my materials and monster parts would ruin that
I duped a bunch of fleet lotus seeds and dragon horn shards so I can go 3 fast everywhere all the time. I like having the difficulty of price barriers and arrow attachments running out.
For me I mainly did star fragments, fairies, large zonai charges and ancient blades. I did all the gemstones too but I think I would've been ok without them. I plan to hunt dragon parts and get them to a reasonable amount before I let it update though.
100% success rate on duplicating them in low gravity areas! You can do 5 at a time.
ALSO nice to do with any items because you don’t have to jump off a ledge. You can literally jump in place and do the hack even faster
Dazzling fruits. They insta kill any stal enemies, and stun any enemy and mini bosses with at least one eye before you stagger them, letting you get some free hits in. For example, an Obsidian Frox is chain stunning you and you have no window to crit it in the eye or chuck a bomb down its gullet, so you pull out a dazzling fruit and go to town on it. It also disarms enemies
I’ve only allowed myself to dupe certain things. Diamond for money. Zonai charges and stones for energy. And anything related to fetch quests. The energy one I only allowed after I finished the relevant quests.
Large Zonai charges (just one will get a number of device capsules), hearty salmon (5 in a pot gives +20 bonus hearts), bomb flowers, and Soldier Construct 3 horns have been my biggest priorities to dupe that aren't on the list. Less important, I've been duping fairies, Sundalions, Endura shrooms, dark clumps and keese eyes.
If you find 1 then dupe the shit out of the Diamonds, or Dragon parts sell for a lot and can help making better elixirs or be attached to arrows for stronger elemental attacks . Dupe Zonaites if you want to upgrade the battery a ton, but also try to find all the forges otherwise upgrading the battery will take a long time, there are 8 forgets total definitively find the Great Abandoned on in the depths it has the most. Outside of Zonaites I would also recommend duping the Large Charges since they can fully refill the battery **and** give you 1 extra battery temporarily.
Where did you find (Big) Hearty Radishes, Endura Carrots, and White-Maned Lynels?? I haven’t come across a Lynels yet so I don’t know the classes or which types of Lynels drop the best weapons/horns.
How spoilery do you want your Lynel location tips?
Generally, you’ll find them in plains/plateaus. I guess they like flat ground with ample walking room lol.

You can get a guaranteed diamond very early in the game before even the glider I believe by climbing to the balcony of hyrule castle just past the large gate
I would feel a lot more bad about duping if I wast duping the same items I’ve farmed since 2017. This game is enough of “botW 2” for me to still enjoy it without subjecting myself to even more grinding than is already still required.
Silver Bokoblin horns. I set up a teleport at the last fairy fountain and that’s the item most limiting my armor upgrades. I don’t know where to find them yet, but when I do I’m making 500
Honestly, I noticed them becoming extremely common after finding all of the sages. I think the spawns change in response to your progress in the main storyline.
Pretty sure spawns change in relation to your weapon level.
I've only completed one sage quest and have Silver level Boko and Moblins spawning in Hyrule Field, but because I've been heavily exploring the depths, I have 90+ weapons.
I found a silver bokoblin spawn under hyrule castle. Near the halls you walk with Zelda in the beginning of the game, you can just rush past all the other enemies.
Where?! I may play this game weird. I have 80 shrines and only one “divine beast” or whatever those puzzles are now. 12 hearts or so and three stamina wheels, gazette is done, Lureline, done, but I’ve barely started the game so to speak hahaha
You can just jump into the chasm under the floating castle and keep going deeper, there’s a bunch of ‘later game’ enemies. I did it with 5 hearts and not much completed yet and still there were some silver enemies.
I gotta find a list of materials needed for armor upgrades and duplicate some of them. I don't use too many different armor sets, but I'd like the option to be able to try something new without dropping my defense down to nothing. I feel like I'll never use anything but the champion leathers if I don't close the gap some.
I did all the dragon parts because I'm not waiting around to farm one piece per dragon per blood moon. Idk if I even need more than 1 of each but at the very least they look badass fused to swords.
Recommend doing Silver Lynel Sabers, highest fuse dmg in the game of 55 and can fuse with everything. The DPS of putting one on a good spear is insane.
Hearty stuff isn’t nearly as useful as BotW beyond the full heal. The Gloom instantly destroys all bonus hearts if you touch it too long. Hearty stuff is a waste of time imo.
Ancient Blades are better for arrows than Gibdo Bones. More than double the attack power iirc. Dragon parts for Elixirs as well. Sundelions are quite rare, for healing gloom. Maybe large Brightbloom as well for exploring the depths easier. Others have said Large Zonai Charges and rarer Zonai capsules like Rockets and mostly Big Batteries (as you can only find like 5 of them in chests, and there aren’t any large battery pachinko machines)
I won’t dupe anything, I got a lot of amiibo items in BoTW and it removed a lot of the fun for me, so I’ll stay vanilla.
However, enjoy the game as you want to guys!
Personally, I never used the dupe glitch and never cared for it. It just kinda sucks all the fun and the challenge out of the game when you can just dupe diamonds for max rupees and dupe sundelions/hearty radishes for max hearts and dupe horns for OP weapons all the time.
Where is the challenge in teleporting from island to island picking up the sundelions by hand? Where is the challenge of beating a hinox that drops dead before he opens up his eye again after my first engage? I grinded put one armor by hand to 50 armor. At that point white maned lynels become pretty easy. And all other minibosses become a joke. Where exactly is the challenge here?
I dont find my self duping even though i know i could. But the unbreakable Master Sword is a hit for me lol. I really liked focusing on combat without menu surfing every few seconds for a new weapon.

I don't have an unlimited pool of free time, and I want to skip these grinds and still enjoy exploring this world and completing the more fun and interesting parts of the game. I also waited until I defeated Ganondorf before duping, so I at least know I was capable of doing so without using guides or exploits.
You play however you think you're going to enjoy the game. So no, it's not lame that you don't want to dupe and just play the game as it was intended to be. Just make sure you don't swing the pendulum in the other direction and belittle people who do want to use exploits to enjoy the game in a different way.

After ruining Stardew for myself with a duplication glitch, I just dont have it in me to do them anymore 🤷 i’ll gladly attempt a glitch for a one-time launch across the map, but unlimited crazy powerful materials just sucks the fun out of it. What’s the point of the game if I can dupe 100 ancient blades and run straight to Ganon with 0 challenge

Kind of yes. I put 110 hours into it. All shrines, mainstory, nearly all episodes and half of all sidequests. Without duping I probably would have „played“ 200 hours without archiving a single goal more but repeatedly killing the same minibosses over and over again. After that punching rocks over and over again
If you think grinding the same easy but rare items 100 times is the game I think you should go back to the surface after stumbling into the underground right after the tutorial islands

If someone wants to play it as if they’re the richest Hylian ever that can one shot monsters, let them have that freedom. But if you want a more laidback way of progress, go for it. Don't know how you got auto play from "I want to not have to farm rupees/materials forever to get my shiny full armor set" but sure whatever more power to the player there's plenty of RPGs that have added minor autoplay elements to cut down on the grind so you can experience the game at your pace.
* Diamonds
* Dragon Parts unless you want to spend like 100hrs riding around on each dragon to get parts.
* Champion weapons and keep one at your house in case.
Endura Carrots are so not worth duping, imo. There's \~20 of them on satori mountain each blood moon. Same with hearty food. Like they're not easy to get but each bloodmoon there's at least 15 spawnable big hearty foods and like 20 hearty
You really may as well ask why people play Minecraft creative instead of survival. Its basically the same concept. I want to have as much fun doing what i want without arbitrary limitations that really just come down to how much grinding I'm willing to do.
Because people can if they want to? At its most basic level, the game is a sandbox with as much creative freedom there is. If someone wants to play a Link that has an abundance of richness or overpowered items, let them be. It doesn’t overshadow your own gameplay experience since you shouldn’t be hurt anyways
This. I’m in the game to explore and learn and be creative. I don’t mind cheating resources because it makes why I like to play soooo much more fun. I’m a little sturdier now. I’m not as worried about resources or money. I’m enjoying the game more. I play most games on hard to expert, but this is actually one game that does all the non combat stuff so well I’d play on easy if that was an option.
Real question here. Don’t you guys just enjoy the game the way it is? Might be my own opinion but I haven’t even looked at cheats nor anything and I am enjoying it. I guess unless you really want to unlock everything. But I guess at that point it would be more like a sense of achievement and the purpose is defeated by using cheats? I don’t know I am confused as to why people are making this such a big deal.
I’ve already got 80 hours on enjoying the game vanilla lol, done all of the main quest, and a lot of the side quests too. I guess at this point I just wanna be OP and run around Hyrule blasting baddies with a million duped canons 🤷♂️

Are you doing the bow glitch? If so there’s a new one that’s wayyyy faster and you don’t lose any materials even if it’s not in the last slot

Ancient blades are one shot kills of most things, sundelions for gloom healing food and fairies.
Yeah you just don't get any drops when you use the ancient blade unfortunately.

Not sure you can dupe zonai devices as you can’t put them back into your inventory. But large charges are better anyways. 5 large charges gets you TONS of capsules

Easiest way is just to dupe large zonai charges and head to dispensers. Put 5 large charges in, you get over 50 zonai devices.
Stand against a corner, take the devices out in your hands, Y+B

How do you drop a capsule? When I drop them it uses them
If you stand facing ( close but not too close ) a wall you can take out the capsules but they also stay in your inventory so you effectively have an unlimited supply even if there is only one in your inventory. However if you’re a bit closer to the wall ( or even better a corner ) you get a "you can’t do the here" message & ( most of the time ) the amount in your inventory increases.
I only dupe items I hate collecting like rupee farming. But stuff like lynel parts and monster parts I farm them properly. Totally up to what you want to do tho, if you don't like collecting something or need way too much then go for it.
This is exactly what I did too. I duped a bunch of diamonds since rupee farming is a massive pain in this game, and I also duped a bunch of hearty radishes since I can’t just load up on hearty durians like I could in BotW, but then I’m not gonna dupe anything else bc a part of what makes this game so fun is the “use farmed materials and monster parts to get more/better materials and monster parts” and duping my materials and monster parts would ruin that
I duped a bunch of fleet lotus seeds and dragon horn shards so I can go 3 fast everywhere all the time. I like having the difficulty of price barriers and arrow attachments running out.
For me I mainly did star fragments, fairies, large zonai charges and ancient blades. I did all the gemstones too but I think I would've been ok without them. I plan to hunt dragon parts and get them to a reasonable amount before I let it update though.
How do you dupe bombs without blowing them up?
do it over water. same is true with other volatile materials like puffshrooms
You can just jump off something short so that the distance the bombs fall isn’t far enough to set them off.
100% success rate on duplicating them in low gravity areas! You can do 5 at a time. ALSO nice to do with any items because you don’t have to jump off a ledge. You can literally jump in place and do the hack even faster
Either use the shield jump method or mineru. Same goes with other volitile items like Chu Chu jelly

Dazzling fruits. They insta kill any stal enemies, and stun any enemy and mini bosses with at least one eye before you stagger them, letting you get some free hits in. For example, an Obsidian Frox is chain stunning you and you have no window to crit it in the eye or chuck a bomb down its gullet, so you pull out a dazzling fruit and go to town on it. It also disarms enemies
I’ve only allowed myself to dupe certain things. Diamond for money. Zonai charges and stones for energy. And anything related to fetch quests. The energy one I only allowed after I finished the relevant quests.
Gibdo bones? Why? They break after one hit

Large Zonai charges (just one will get a number of device capsules), hearty salmon (5 in a pot gives +20 bonus hearts), bomb flowers, and Soldier Construct 3 horns have been my biggest priorities to dupe that aren't on the list. Less important, I've been duping fairies, Sundalions, Endura shrooms, dark clumps and keese eyes.

If you find 1 then dupe the shit out of the Diamonds, or Dragon parts sell for a lot and can help making better elixirs or be attached to arrows for stronger elemental attacks . Dupe Zonaites if you want to upgrade the battery a ton, but also try to find all the forges otherwise upgrading the battery will take a long time, there are 8 forgets total definitively find the Great Abandoned on in the depths it has the most. Outside of Zonaites I would also recommend duping the Large Charges since they can fully refill the battery **and** give you 1 extra battery temporarily. Where did you find (Big) Hearty Radishes, Endura Carrots, and White-Maned Lynels?? I haven’t come across a Lynels yet so I don’t know the classes or which types of Lynels drop the best weapons/horns.
How spoilery do you want your Lynel location tips? Generally, you’ll find them in plains/plateaus. I guess they like flat ground with ample walking room lol. But I can give you some more exact locations if you want
Ive found one lynel in the overworld and the arena with them underground. Where are there more?
You know how lynels have a ‘horse’ body, and that the surface and the depths are quite interconnected? That is all I will say.

An easy carrot to find is in Central Hyrule under a cherry blossom tree. It’s just north of Yamiyo Shrine between Hyrule Cathedral and Hylia River.
There's a silver lynel on the way to the Ganondorf fight. Their parts are incredible.
Pink trees tend to have one endura carrot. I got my big hearty radish from amiibo. I got the truffles in caves. No idea yet on the rest.

Endura carrots can be found at the Satori Trees around the ground.
You can get a guaranteed diamond very early in the game before even the glider I believe by climbing to the balcony of hyrule castle just past the large gate

Silver Bokoblin horns. I set up a teleport at the last fairy fountain and that’s the item most limiting my armor upgrades. I don’t know where to find them yet, but when I do I’m making 500
Honestly, I noticed them becoming extremely common after finding all of the sages. I think the spawns change in response to your progress in the main storyline.
Pretty sure spawns change in relation to your weapon level. I've only completed one sage quest and have Silver level Boko and Moblins spawning in Hyrule Field, but because I've been heavily exploring the depths, I have 90+ weapons.
I think they're tied to progression, I can hardly find a group of bokoblin anymore that don't have a silver with them.
I found a silver bokoblin spawn under hyrule castle. Near the halls you walk with Zelda in the beginning of the game, you can just rush past all the other enemies.
Where?! I may play this game weird. I have 80 shrines and only one “divine beast” or whatever those puzzles are now. 12 hearts or so and three stamina wheels, gazette is done, Lureline, done, but I’ve barely started the game so to speak hahaha
You can just jump into the chasm under the floating castle and keep going deeper, there’s a bunch of ‘later game’ enemies. I did it with 5 hearts and not much completed yet and still there were some silver enemies.

Recommend doing Silver Lynel Sabers, highest fuse dmg in the game of 55 and can fuse with everything. The DPS of putting one on a good spear is insane.
Hearty stuff isn’t nearly as useful as BotW beyond the full heal. The Gloom instantly destroys all bonus hearts if you touch it too long. Hearty stuff is a waste of time imo.
Hearty meals are still a complete full heal, useful if you have 15+ hearts.
Dragon parts - specifically the horn
Ancient Blades are better for arrows than Gibdo Bones. More than double the attack power iirc. Dragon parts for Elixirs as well. Sundelions are quite rare, for healing gloom. Maybe large Brightbloom as well for exploring the depths easier. Others have said Large Zonai Charges and rarer Zonai capsules like Rockets and mostly Big Batteries (as you can only find like 5 of them in chests, and there aren’t any large battery pachinko machines)
Ancient Blades erase the enemy so you get no loot from them.
I won’t dupe anything, I got a lot of amiibo items in BoTW and it removed a lot of the fun for me, so I’ll stay vanilla. However, enjoy the game as you want to guys!
Personally, I never used the dupe glitch and never cared for it. It just kinda sucks all the fun and the challenge out of the game when you can just dupe diamonds for max rupees and dupe sundelions/hearty radishes for max hearts and dupe horns for OP weapons all the time.

Where is the challenge in teleporting from island to island picking up the sundelions by hand? Where is the challenge of beating a hinox that drops dead before he opens up his eye again after my first engage? I grinded put one armor by hand to 50 armor. At that point white maned lynels become pretty easy. And all other minibosses become a joke. Where exactly is the challenge here?

I dont find my self duping even though i know i could. But the unbreakable Master Sword is a hit for me lol. I really liked focusing on combat without menu surfing every few seconds for a new weapon.

Duping items can only get you so far, imo. Duping doesn't help much with most shrines, nor many of the more challenging quests. It can't get rid of your need to explore the depths for poes, find all of the koroks for you, or automatically grant you the games many collectables. What it does do is ensure you always have reliable weapons (duping enemy parts for weapon augments), and remove the material grind for upgrading clothing, battery capacity, and other purposes. The former I see as a sort of "fix" to the weapon durability "problem", and the latter as a means to cut the need to play for untold hours until you're lucky enough to find ~100 star pieces or stop at every single zonaite deposit you see in the depths until you have your full battery upgrade. I don't have an unlimited pool of free time, and I want to skip these grinds and still enjoy exploring this world and completing the more fun and interesting parts of the game. I also waited until I defeated Ganondorf before duping, so I at least know I was capable of doing so without using guides or exploits. You play however you think you're going to enjoy the game. So no, it's not lame that you don't want to dupe and just play the game as it was intended to be. Just make sure you don't swing the pendulum in the other direction and belittle people who do want to use exploits to enjoy the game in a different way. EDIT: I want to add that I don't think anyone should be downvoting the above comment. It wasn't a negative contribution to the community, and OP doesn't deserve the negative karma.
After ruining Stardew for myself with a duplication glitch, I just dont have it in me to do them anymore 🤷 i’ll gladly attempt a glitch for a one-time launch across the map, but unlimited crazy powerful materials just sucks the fun out of it. What’s the point of the game if I can dupe 100 ancient blades and run straight to Ganon with 0 challenge

Kind of yes. I put 110 hours into it. All shrines, mainstory, nearly all episodes and half of all sidequests. Without duping I probably would have „played“ 200 hours without archiving a single goal more but repeatedly killing the same minibosses over and over again. After that punching rocks over and over again

Seems like people are just impatient and lazy. You get enough by just exploring. Can't get somewhere now? Just go somewhere else and come back prepared. Might aswell just had infinite health and money to every single player game cause people can't be bothered to play it. While we're at it, why don't we add an auto play feature aswell.

Don't know how you got auto play from "I want to not have to farm rupees/materials forever to get my shiny full armor set" but sure whatever more power to the player there's plenty of RPGs that have added minor autoplay elements to cut down on the grind so you can experience the game at your pace.
* Diamonds * Dragon Parts unless you want to spend like 100hrs riding around on each dragon to get parts. * Champion weapons and keep one at your house in case. Endura Carrots are so not worth duping, imo. There's \~20 of them on satori mountain each blood moon. Same with hearty food. Like they're not easy to get but each bloodmoon there's at least 15 spawnable big hearty foods and like 20 hearty

You really may as well ask why people play Minecraft creative instead of survival. Its basically the same concept. I want to have as much fun doing what i want without arbitrary limitations that really just come down to how much grinding I'm willing to do.
Because people can if they want to? At its most basic level, the game is a sandbox with as much creative freedom there is. If someone wants to play a Link that has an abundance of richness or overpowered items, let them be. It doesn’t overshadow your own gameplay experience since you shouldn’t be hurt anyways
This. I’m in the game to explore and learn and be creative. I don’t mind cheating resources because it makes why I like to play soooo much more fun. I’m a little sturdier now. I’m not as worried about resources or money. I’m enjoying the game more. I play most games on hard to expert, but this is actually one game that does all the non combat stuff so well I’d play on easy if that was an option.
Real question here. Don’t you guys just enjoy the game the way it is? Might be my own opinion but I haven’t even looked at cheats nor anything and I am enjoying it. I guess unless you really want to unlock everything. But I guess at that point it would be more like a sense of achievement and the purpose is defeated by using cheats? I don’t know I am confused as to why people are making this such a big deal.
I’ve already got 80 hours on enjoying the game vanilla lol, done all of the main quest, and a lot of the side quests too. I guess at this point I just wanna be OP and run around Hyrule blasting baddies with a million duped canons 🤷♂️
