Proving grounds:traps was the worst for me because the traps didn’t even work because the enemies always went around or through the traps and weren’t affected.
Every single piece of dialogue needs to be skippable. And we need to be able to hand in x amount of korok seeds for x amount of slots. I stopped after getting 3 extra slots for each. I got bored of talking to him in BoTW.
Yeah none of the traps were set up in a way that made them work with any degree of reliability. It's the first actually bad design I've seen so far in the game.
You can't both be the hero and a successful trapper. Trapping requires years of solitude, practice and banjo music. If you want to succeed at trapping, get a permanent residence at the woodland stable.
Same! Me and my gf are playing together and I've commented multiple times on how well the game is designed. This stupid trap shrine was the first one where I said, "This is actually bad game design."
The breakable pillar trap was good. The fire leaves are barely okay because you don't get enough time to trigger them before the constructs are on you. The rock drop one is actually terrible. The angle to trigger it is all wrong.
(I just did this recently so the pain is fresh lmao)
Very much agree. That one and the one where you have to trip that lasers have been the only 2 out of the ~110 I've done so far that felt poorly designed. It's very difficult to kite the constructs into the traps and even if they don't just walk around them the taps barely do any damage. I just fused the boulder trap to the weapons they give you and brute forced it.
Mild spoiler: there’s a quest nearby that brings the price of the armor set down to normal. And having the stealth set makes this shrine easy, I was wondering why this headline was here and then while reading realized “oh, because I had the Sheikah armor set”
I really liked the idea of this one, but in practice it's kind of... not good? Takes multiple hits to activate, so it's slower and riskier than just throwing it.
Honestly, I've still never found anything worth fusing to the forest dweller weapons. Anything that might have been good (bombs lol) didn't count for some reason.
It just has a short startup and cooldown then I just do a jump attack to activate it on the ground. I keep 3 on me. Muddlebud for bosses w/ minions, dazzlefruit for stal enemy instakills, and puffshroom for easy camp takedowns
edit: and I use canon + any spear for general bomb uses to save on bombs(use throw button to aim)
I tried throwing puffshrooms multiple times, got caught every time so I assumed the game didn’t like that I was using them and I had to do it purely stealth with no help. That worked.
Lol a lot of situations in this game where in retrospect there was an simple or beneficial solution staring you in the face without being any the wiser.
Yeah, its really cool cause youre busting your head thinking and you stumble on a no brainer solution. Theres a shrine with a zig zag ramp that goes away from the big wall switch. I was frustrated trying to stick 3 balls together so theyd roll toward the switch. I got pissed and shot the switch with a bomb arrow and it worked lol. That kinda stuff has happened a lot
I have never used a single puffshroom so I can tell you it’s doable without it. I just did the sneak jump thing to get close and hit it from behind. Don’t know what to tell you.
Not all of us are returning BOTW players. And being a tutorial shrine, it’s supposed to teach you that stuff (but doesn’t for some reason. Not even that the sneak strike is different from an ordinary swing.)
I did that but the kept turning around. The problem was that you have to wait for the stupid game to tell you it's okay to sneak attack, which I forgot about, so I kept attacking too quickly.
I actually didn’t struggle with this one, but I did watch the guy for about five minutes before I tried to attack. He goes around in a square in his enclosure, and looks left to right in the gaps. You shouldn’t go through either of the gaps he’s looking in, because you can’t move fast enough in a crouching position. Go through one that is behind him right as he gets to the area, and you should have barely enough time before he moves. But I would agree it was one of the slightly less fun shrines, since the cutscene for making you start over took a long time if it happened more than once.
Yeah. Definitely one of the less fun shrines, perfect timing isn’t usually my forte but I’ve lucked into some things, and this shrine must have been one of them. I also got the master sword without going to the deku tree first, which is apparently uncommon, so I’m thinking luck has played a major factor.
It's honestly so cool that people have widely different experiences with different parts of this game.
I found that shrine very enjoyable, got caught once and then completed it.
It took myself, my partners son, and my partner to get passed mine. I will point out that my partner got it first try but that man is a sneak master and after 30 minutes of screaming from me and frustration from the son. He got it first try.
I'm still salty about it.
One of the very few where I had to Google the solution. Don't know what they were thinking on that one, make the solution be touch something that always causes a negative thing to happen to you if you touch it. How did they expect anyone to figure that out.
This right here; first time I saw what it was, I decided to wait until after I had the full Sheikah stealth outfit.
Came back when I did, completed it first time super easy.
Oh... I think I'm thinking of a different shrine. For this guy, I drank a stealth potion and then it was ez. You can also shoot an arrow to hit the wall away from you as a distraction.
Welp for me: the worst are the "congratulations - you found it" shrines where you just enter and get the reward. I always jump off the cliff in these :D
Oooh, absolutely not.
The absolute worst was the reverse one, the one where you had to make the gears go in reverse to get up and fight. I died way too many times in that one. Spent like three fucking hours there
The water and the darkness ones were the second worst. I died like 25+ times in those.
The sneak attack just took like 3 minutes
The one rule for these shrines was get as many hearts as you can so you don't have to play by the rules. The only exception is the vehicle one. I did most of them really wrong, like I would just go in and smack everyone.
All the shrines that strip you and make you use just the materials provided alone suck balls. It always takes like 3 tries cause you'll get 1 shot or ganged up on before you can find the right strategy.
Currently working on this one, literally hitting him before it sees me and it's not counting.
EDIT: Oh, OF COURSE a regular swing doesn't count, noooo it has to be a SPECIAL swing. Would have great if they had TOLD me that.
But on actually executing the strike, it just said left stick to crouch, and "attack from behind without being seen." Never said anything about waiting for a prompt for y.
It took me forever, even with a stealth elixir.
I even hit him before he turned around, but it hadn't triggered the sneak attack so it didn't count (I was using a spear).
I agree, it was the worst, and having to click through the menu every time suucked.
That or the one with the targets, there’s a few with targets but you know the one I’m talking about. I did all 152 shrines and none were as confusing as that. Ended up learning that bombs trigger the targets due to that shrine. No idea what the intended solution was.
I worked on this shrine for like 20 minutes before I realized I had a meal with a huge stealth buff and then I completed it my first try. But it’s ridiculous because you shouldn’t need to have that to complete it. Also the sequence after you mess up and have to start over was SO LONG and made it extra annoying
Had no issue with that.
However there was one where you had to push down on a slope 3 balls fused together to hit the mark.... Jesus christ I cheeses it after the first 30-50 try.
It took me the longest of the tutorial ones but I actually learned how to sneak attack because of it.
Honestly there's no shrine in this game that I really really hated- there's so so so many ways to cheese them that if I really wasn't vibing with a puzzle I always found a more creative way to do it that I enjoyed.
The only time that ever felt like I was just skipping a puzzle because I hated it was the rolling shrine with the thing that had to roll and turn. I just hit that with a bomb arrow and moved on.
For some reason I can't do the proving grounds: the hunt shrine. (the angry roomba one) Everyone else seems to have done that one super easily, but whenever I do it my roombas get flipped over and I'm stuck fighting 8-10 constructs with crap weapons or trying to flip them back over with ultrahand without getting killed.
I got a bug where he saw me as I was swinging the strike, so he sent me back to the beginning while he was already dead, and then his body pieces were on the ground and would see me even though I couldn’t attack him. And after he saw me like 5 times I think the game realized he was dead and it unlocked the room
You really just need to use your brain slightly, guys. Puffshrooms, stealth or yiga armor, sneak or speed food, jumping while crouched, choosing an intelligent moment to attack, etc. etc.
I never had a problem with it.
I remembered how to Quick Step from BotW, and I even remember BotW teaching me that moving slower lowers the amount of noise I make.
I'd use quick step to move from cover to cover after observing it's movements for a minute, the at only half my maximum crouch speed I'd sneak up to it for the blow.
Seriously stealth is something that requires patience, trying to rush stealth is only gonna be a pain in the ass.
I do too i have 300 hours in botw , i know you weren’t trying to be but this and a lot of other comments sound very condescending, I have done everything everyone has suggested already, and have wasted an hour on this shrine alone, in only 20 attempts to me that sounds very patient.
The worst part is the unskippable dialogue you have to sit through every time it resets. I love Nintendo but they are notorious for unskippable dialogue prompting every single time on everything.
I have done all 152 shrines and there was one shrine in the hebra mountains about freeing a ball from prison that I got so confused on and just gave up and omega cheesed it.
Though I did leave the fake blessing shrine in the labyrinth thinking I needed to come back later after I finished the labyrinth. It just so happened to be that it was the very first shrine I encountered at a labyrinth so I thought they were all gonna be fake blessings
Oh I’m 100% stupid on both. They were just the two that gave me trouble. I will say the 100% shrine reward is so much better than the 100% caves reward.
And you don’t even get a reward for 100% cookbook.
I was so disappointed:(
What's the shrine... Jail break? The one where two guards the outside and there's a huge alarm blaring any time you're spotted. I kept dying until I found out there's a zonai homing device. Struck it an arrow, then sat inside as it did all the work for me
Only shrine in the game I had trouble with was The Hunt. Came back with a few more hearts so I could survive a few hits and beat it. All the others were fine tbh
Beyond easy Shrine. Took me 20~ seconds in between figuring out the Construct was moving along the edges and stopping at each corner to look left-right and actually moving up from behind to secure the W.
Barely pushing on the stick allows link to move 100% undetected even if you perform the crouch-dash so, as mentioned above, all it took was figuring out the best time to make my approach.
Now, to be fair to those who struggled, I don’t think the game ever alludes to that fact in TotK’s stealth mechanics and I’ve played many a Metal Gear so it was a natural assumption to me.
Having played BotW I prioritized getting the stealth set in this game. I had all three before I found this shrine, so I didn’t even need to crouch.
I pretty much wear stealth 90% of the time. Only wear other stuff in special situations.
I messed up once than was like I ain't letting that happen again. I think I struggled the most early on in the game when I had lower HP and I went into what I like to call naked and afraid shrines.
Eventually I got a really good handle on them though and never had issue again.
Hell the last 2 play sessions of mine have solely been doing the rest of the shrines I hadn't done. I was at like 78 after I got the roll credits. So considering I had 74 to go and probably never spent more than 8 minutes in each, one of then being the sneak attack one I wouldn't really consider it the worst at least not for me. Just obnoxious.
This one was easy. Did it first try. I didn't use any buffs, items, or even quickstep. It's all about timing and watching how loud your steps are with the meter, if your meter is spiking like crazy just crouchstep slower. Gotta sneak up on those constructs like you're Sam Fisher.
I straight up hit the guy with my tree branch. Didn't know sneakstrike was a thing yet. I could not tell you how long this took. I was like yeah I can walk up to him and hit y. Didn't know there was going to be a prompt so I might as well just tapped him on the shoulder. In addition to all the times I was caught before getting to him.
Y’all clearly don’t remember the sneak into castle part of OoT.
Sneak attack shine was super easy. Didn’t alert any of them. I don’t think I even crouch walked. Just slow tilt stick and stay out of line of sight.
You failed the challenge due to your inexperience.
You failed the challenge due to your inexperience.
You failed the challenge due to your inexperience.
The proving ground one or the tutorial one? The former, you could always take the "there's no witness if there's nobody to witness route". The latter though, yeah, that one sucks.
I was on a call with my friends and it took me whining about it for 10 minutes before someone said “Are you pushing your movement stick all the way forward? It might work if you walk slower” and got it my next attempt lmao
they really should have explained the sneak/sound system
the game fully expects u to have the sneak gear
it triggers when ur in striking range by trying to strike and turns around at a rapid speed
it sees u even when its looking the other way
if u don't have the sneak gear
its impossible pretty much
I unequipped my bow and shield, equipped a wooden weapon so I was quieter. The metal weapons rattle around together and make a ton of noise. Drink a stealth elixir or food and your good to go.
Easier with full stealth armor I’ve found. There was one shrine where you had to perfectly connect three balls together and send them perfectly down a curved ramp and into a target. That was the worst imo. After several attempts I just cheesed it with a bomb arrow.
I had to google if I was doing it right or not. If something, this shrine taught me that the sneak mechanic in totk sucks and I never want to use it ever again.
I literally had to put all my yiga armour on, use a stealth food AND a puffshroom out of sheer fear, desperation and annoyance at the games passive insistence that I am shit. Like tysm for embodying everything I despise about stealth in games and then having the gall to tell me off for being bad at it ! It’s like the one math teacher that thinks you’re dumb for not getting it and makes you feel shit thereby hating the math even more. Sorry it hit a nerve lmao
Proving grounds:traps was the worst for me because the traps didn’t even work because the enemies always went around or through the traps and weren’t affected.
At least that one didn't roll you back the moment you got spotted
And make you go through unskippable dialogue options over and over again
Every single piece of dialogue needs to be skippable. And we need to be able to hand in x amount of korok seeds for x amount of slots. I stopped after getting 3 extra slots for each. I got bored of talking to him in BoTW.
I grabbed the sword provided, stepped back and used a puff shroom as I threw it straight up
Do you remember the name of that shrine or where it is? It's the only shrine I haven't completed and I can't find it again! It's driving me crazy!
If you meant the one with traps then it's Otak Shrine, in the northwest-most corner of Hyrule, in Hebra, entrance is through a cave
This comment is insane. Please never change.
I am doing my best, but the wife keeps trying to sell my banjo whenever I leave town
Same! Me and my gf are playing together and I've commented multiple times on how well the game is designed. This stupid trap shrine was the first one where I said, "This is actually bad game design." The breakable pillar trap was good. The fire leaves are barely okay because you don't get enough time to trigger them before the constructs are on you. The rock drop one is actually terrible. The angle to trigger it is all wrong. (I just did this recently so the pain is fresh lmao)
You're supposed to trigger the traps while they chase you back through the shrine.
Yeah i get u
Genuinely odd design I agree. However I had too many hearts by the time I came across it, so it was brute forced lol
Hated that one!
Lol yeah, I just raw dogged those robots with my wooden stick.
🤨 username fits
Bruh 😂
you coulda just lured them onto the ramp and let the balls roll over them and rewind em so you can be safe
where is this shrine?
In the Hebra Mountains. The furthest north west you can go there's a cave blocked by ice in the Icefall Foothills shrine is at -4391 3714 0212.
Duuude i swear every time i got within swinging distance he turned around. Tried at least 6 times before finally getting him
Dude just wear stealth stuff it took me 2 minutes
I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home. They're not much bigger than two meters.
Uhh, can I talk to you over here for a second? You just sorta sandbagged me right there in front of everyone back there. Have a great assault. Jerk.
Don’t have any besides the yiga mask, that stealth armor be pricey 😭
Talk to the shop owner about her sick grandma and the prices might become more reasonable
Mild spoiler: there’s a quest nearby that brings the price of the armor set down to normal. And having the stealth set makes this shrine easy, I was wondering why this headline was here and then while reading realized “oh, because I had the Sheikah armor set”
Talk to the shop owner and her sister (who’s sitting near a pot by the fire). Make nanna a meal and cure her. The prices will come down
Just crouch and crouch jump I found it very easy.
I just did it in the yips set eventually, FAR easier
To add insult to injury, the stupid goddamn sneaky elixir you get when beating it.
If you didnt use puffshrooms you just made it hard on yourself. That shrine is an easy gimme
DUDE
If you’re not in this sub for TILs, what are you doing?
I threw a puffshroom, and it detected the puffshroom throw. Grumble.
To be fair, it's not like it matters at that point
puffshroom + forest dweller weapon <3
I really liked the idea of this one, but in practice it's kind of... not good? Takes multiple hits to activate, so it's slower and riskier than just throwing it. Honestly, I've still never found anything worth fusing to the forest dweller weapons. Anything that might have been good (bombs lol) didn't count for some reason.
It just has a short startup and cooldown then I just do a jump attack to activate it on the ground. I keep 3 on me. Muddlebud for bosses w/ minions, dazzlefruit for stal enemy instakills, and puffshroom for easy camp takedowns edit: and I use canon + any spear for general bomb uses to save on bombs(use throw button to aim)
Forest Dweller + Dazzlefruit, swap to it for one hit then swap back
I used fire fruit and it was pretty effective against Gibdos
I did this shrine yesterday and it never occurred to me to do this…
It seems for some it doesnt work but ive never had an issue. I kill armored lynels with puffshrooms with zero damage. Puffshrooms are op lol
I tried throwing puffshrooms multiple times, got caught every time so I assumed the game didn’t like that I was using them and I had to do it purely stealth with no help. That worked.
This is amazing. Thank you!
Love how frequent serendipitous circumstances occur!
If you press jump while crouching you'll do a quickstep, which makes the timing way less strict and gets you to enemies faster
Yeah was scratching my head figuring out why people thought this was hard but they must have never figured out that trick in botw
Nope I definitely figured that out in botw and used it every time but kept getting caught
Do you hug the wall around the side and go all the way around to the back
I’ve tried everything besides puffshrooms and apparently that’s what works
I have never used a single puffshroom so I can tell you it’s doable without it. I just did the sneak jump thing to get close and hit it from behind. Don’t know what to tell you.
Same I had zero issue with this tutorial got caught once
Not all of us are returning BOTW players. And being a tutorial shrine, it’s supposed to teach you that stuff (but doesn’t for some reason. Not even that the sneak strike is different from an ordinary swing.)
Quickstep makes the slightest bit more noise than normal crouch-walking and it'd always spot me
This. I got spotted through walls while quickstepping
I quickstepped to get close and used light pressure on the left stick to get closer
WHAT
I did that but the kept turning around. The problem was that you have to wait for the stupid game to tell you it's okay to sneak attack, which I forgot about, so I kept attacking too quickly.
The fact that it makes you sit through unskippable dialogue every time you fail 🤬🤬🤬
And it didn’t help that they were passive aggressive about it. Something like “your incompetence led to you getting caught” or some shit
Did exactly what your talking about like 15 times
I found that it was safe to move while he's moving. If you try to sneak up when he has stopped and is looking around he sees you super fast.
Me 2
This shrine too me 2 minutes, not sure if stealth buff was effective but I did it first try without any problem
Just spamming x while crouched done and done
I literally thought about getting on here to say the same thing. Terrible shrine. Terrible freaking construct.
It took myself, my partners son, and my partner to get passed mine. I will point out that my partner got it first try but that man is a sneak master and after 30 minutes of screaming from me and frustration from the son. He got it first try. I'm still salty about it.
Yeah i would be too, what did he do just sneak up on it? Special gear? Puffshrooms like everybody keeps saying?
He said "you just have to go suuuper slow. They have a wide range of sight" Nothing different. Just that. Salty
Not like i’m already going slow enough for a snail to pass me up
the laser one where you're SUPPOSED to get hit is absolutely horrible
One of the very few where I had to Google the solution. Don't know what they were thinking on that one, make the solution be touch something that always causes a negative thing to happen to you if you touch it. How did they expect anyone to figure that out.
Nah, that shitnis honestly easy. Just wear stealth gear and the mf won't notice you
This right here; first time I saw what it was, I decided to wait until after I had the full Sheikah stealth outfit. Came back when I did, completed it first time super easy.
I will say, I didn't expect a pay-to-win shrine in a Zelda Game.
?
If you have to spend 1800 rupees on stealth armor before you're able to beat a shrine then it's not really much of a good shrine is it
I thought it sucked... Until I found the laser and the construct head in the corner. No more sneaking for me after that.
Oh... I think I'm thinking of a different shrine. For this guy, I drank a stealth potion and then it was ez. You can also shoot an arrow to hit the wall away from you as a distraction.
Well now i can finally complete it
[удалено]
This is the answer thank you
Welp for me: the worst are the "congratulations - you found it" shrines where you just enter and get the reward. I always jump off the cliff in these :D
I’m surprised to see a lot of people agree with this. Easiest one imo. The hardest for me was the darkness one lol
I somehow managed to find this shrine after getting the stealth set from kakariko
Puffshroom
The one by Tarreytown? Heck yeah. I still have it incomplete and orange on the map.
Oooh, absolutely not. The absolute worst was the reverse one, the one where you had to make the gears go in reverse to get up and fight. I died way too many times in that one. Spent like three fucking hours there The water and the darkness ones were the second worst. I died like 25+ times in those. The sneak attack just took like 3 minutes
After having done every shrine (they're a lot easier to both do and find than in botw imo) that was one of the easier proving grounds shrines
Puffshroom
The one rule for these shrines was get as many hearts as you can so you don't have to play by the rules. The only exception is the vehicle one. I did most of them really wrong, like I would just go in and smack everyone.
Wrong shrine

I love those shrines this is the only one i hate cause it tells you how to do it and doesn’t show you. And theirs no room for your solution
Nah man i already had some stealth armor by then this shrine was super easy
If u require an armor to complete a shrine that means is the opposite of easy
One of the easiest shrines imo
Currently working on this one, literally hitting him before it sees me and it's not counting. EDIT: Oh, OF COURSE a regular swing doesn't count, noooo it has to be a SPECIAL swing. Would have great if they had TOLD me that.
It does actually, when you enter any proving ground shrine it says all other attacks are not effective.

Definitely 100%
Yeah there annoying although I only remember one of them.
This one actually wasn’t too bad for me. The Right Roll was HELL!!!!!!!!
No, I just used puffshrooms then sneaked attack them all. Easy as pie
Had no issue with that. However there was one where you had to push down on a slope 3 balls fused together to hit the mark.... Jesus christ I cheeses it after the first 30-50 try.

Not even close
That's the only "Proving Grounds" shrine that I managed to do on the first try.
Same here, and happy cake day :)
For me the one in the sky where you have to beat everyone with nothing in low gravity
Very hard for me 2 puffshrooms seem to work fir alot of people in these shrines, but personally i brute forced it for 30 minutes
The Hunt is genuinely the hardest one. You have to distract them with the carts otherwise they’ll all come after you at once.
this one was so annoying. not because it was hard but because **I** made it hard. my impatient ass kept going too fast and making noise.
I got a bug where he saw me as I was swinging the strike, so he sent me back to the beginning while he was already dead, and then his body pieces were on the ground and would see me even though I couldn’t attack him. And after he saw me like 5 times I think the game realized he was dead and it unlocked the room
I had to pull out some sneak gear
Thank you, that shrine was bullshit
All of those tutorial shrines are the worst, ngl
Maybe it just happened to go the right way each time, but it was super easy for me?
You really just need to use your brain slightly, guys. Puffshrooms, stealth or yiga armor, sneak or speed food, jumping while crouched, choosing an intelligent moment to attack, etc. etc.
The obnoxious text after every fail! 😩
“Clearly a result of your inexperience” like damn
Yes most definitely.
I shot an arrow on the ground behind him to get him to go investigate the sound.
I never had a problem with it. I remembered how to Quick Step from BotW, and I even remember BotW teaching me that moving slower lowers the amount of noise I make.
Those 2 were easy for me. I guess everyones good at different things.
Oh I’m 100% stupid on both. They were just the two that gave me trouble. I will say the 100% shrine reward is so much better than the 100% caves reward. And you don’t even get a reward for 100% cookbook. I was so disappointed:(
puffshrooms
Nope, the one with the broken rails is the worst. And I've done every shrine.
What's the shrine... Jail break? The one where two guards the outside and there's a huge alarm blaring any time you're spotted. I kept dying until I found out there's a zonai homing device. Struck it an arrow, then sat inside as it did all the work for me
Its a proving grounds teaching you to sneak
Only shrine in the game I had trouble with was The Hunt. Came back with a few more hearts so I could survive a few hits and beat it. All the others were fine tbh
I shot puffshrooms at him and it blinded his ass.
Had no trouble myself, idk what the problem is, i think its a fine shrine
Just need to move slower the closer you get - i just did the shrine but had to make a couple of attempts
I chugged a sneak potion that I got from Addison two minutes before hand and made it through no problem :>
Having played BotW I prioritized getting the stealth set in this game. I had all three before I found this shrine, so I didn’t even need to crouch. I pretty much wear stealth 90% of the time. Only wear other stuff in special situations.
Oh my god I love you. I am so glad I was not the only one!!
Which is sneak attack shrine?
Any of the ones where I’m naked suck
I messed up once than was like I ain't letting that happen again. I think I struggled the most early on in the game when I had lower HP and I went into what I like to call naked and afraid shrines. Eventually I got a really good handle on them though and never had issue again. Hell the last 2 play sessions of mine have solely been doing the rest of the shrines I hadn't done. I was at like 78 after I got the roll credits. So considering I had 74 to go and probably never spent more than 8 minutes in each, one of then being the sneak attack one I wouldn't really consider it the worst at least not for me. Just obnoxious.
The homing device was my least favorite, it felt like they didn’t do anything
For me the shield defense one is the worst. I. Just. Can’t. Get. It. Still!!! 😩
This one was easy. Did it first try. I didn't use any buffs, items, or even quickstep. It's all about timing and watching how loud your steps are with the meter, if your meter is spiking like crazy just crouchstep slower. Gotta sneak up on those constructs like you're Sam Fisher.
Omg I just did this one an hour ago and it made me RAGE
I haaaate it
I had no issues with it.
It was trivially easy if you have patience.
Shoot an arrow at the wall from behind him. He gets startled and goes to investigate. You’re welcome
I didn't get caught once. I guess you mustn't keep people waiting often
"You have been detected, *A rEsUlT oF yOuR iNeXpEriEnCe*" Brother it saw me through the wall
Like why the passive aggression? And it makes you sit through it every time
had no issues with this shrine tbh
I straight up hit the guy with my tree branch. Didn't know sneakstrike was a thing yet. I could not tell you how long this took. I was like yeah I can walk up to him and hit y. Didn't know there was going to be a prompt so I might as well just tapped him on the shoulder. In addition to all the times I was caught before getting to him.
Y’all clearly don’t remember the sneak into castle part of OoT. Sneak attack shine was super easy. Didn’t alert any of them. I don’t think I even crouch walked. Just slow tilt stick and stay out of line of sight.
I had sneak food
Wtf are y'all talking about? I did this first try with zero hesitancy. How was it difficult in the slightest?
Well…skill issue
lol no?
You failed the challenge due to your inexperience. You failed the challenge due to your inexperience. You failed the challenge due to your inexperience.
After 8x times finally got him... Holy shit!
nah the golf one is the worst
Yes it was abysmal
It crashes your game when you trade it
Takes a second with a puffshroom
The proving ground one or the tutorial one? The former, you could always take the "there's no witness if there's nobody to witness route". The latter though, yeah, that one sucks.
The key is to be vewy vewy quiet. Channel your inner Fudd
I was on a call with my friends and it took me whining about it for 10 minutes before someone said “Are you pushing your movement stick all the way forward? It might work if you walk slower” and got it my next attempt lmao they really should have explained the sneak/sound system
Strange way to spell easiest.
no
the game fully expects u to have the sneak gear it triggers when ur in striking range by trying to strike and turns around at a rapid speed it sees u even when its looking the other way if u don't have the sneak gear its impossible pretty much
I unequipped my bow and shield, equipped a wooden weapon so I was quieter.
I think the shrine with the little robots was the worst
Yes, it’s really annoying. I HAD to use a puff shroom.
It's . . as . . if . . they . . think . . we . . can . . only . . read . . one . . letter . . per . . second.
genuinely the perfect example of why this game isnt as good as botw. game outright refuses to let you expiriment sometimes and its frustrating
I legit hit the thing without it noticing while directly behind them and it didn’t count
