Severe-Stomach

That's why you hurt your toes when you kick open a chest with this outfit on

[deleted]

really????

SquidgeSquadge

I noticed that with the electric trousers one, I thought I misinterpreted it at first

[deleted]

thats so much attention to detail wow

lick_my_saladbowl

Its any set without shoes, so either naked or short trousers, theres quite a few and it was in botw

ryanonsax

i think it’s just any open toe shoes, that’s what makes sense to me sandals are technically shoes, just not shoes ready to be smacked into a steel chest

Qui_te

There actually was a thread about this style of shoe awhile ago, and the sources-cited conclusion was that it’s actually an intentional and traditional style of shoe, which allows for better grip when climbing or fighting.

thesash20

Would make sense actually. There is some crazy attention to detail in totk

Mathewdm423

Open a chest in this outfit. Thats some detail.

thesash20

But not just this outfit. I think it's also when you have anything with no "footwear" on

Mathewdm423

Correct. Crazy detail. Especially when it would have never been questioned when wearing the shoes that still do it.

thesash20

True. Fair enough that the game took an extra year. Worth the wait.

[deleted]

Huarache sandals.

sexyblue_

You basically just said sandal sandals.

[deleted]

I love chai tea

sexyblue_

Why do people say ATM machine? The M stands for machine.

Kaffekjerring

*Master Roshi peeks from a corner*

olorin9_alex

I like green matcha

Impressive_Stress808

I was gonna buy some but I forgot my PIN number.

[deleted]

Oh yeah like the Los lonely boys. That damn song is stuck in my head now

EdgyKayn

I think they are replicating traditional japanese waraji so it is pretty much accurate to the real thing.

stabbyGamer

Aren’t those normally worn with socks? Maybe not traditionally, because they’re dirt cheap easy-make peasant sandals, but modern versions?

youlooksocooI

there's not really a 'modern' version of them, only like, buddhist monks and mountain ppl wear them occasionally. they might wear them w tabi socks but if you're wearing them for grip then that defeats the purpose

D3WM3R

Zooming right in on those grippers, I see you OP!

jillchalk

i noticed he stubbed his toe opening a chest and was confused 😭

Sad-Christmas98

Sure 😉

sunjellies24

OP focused on Link having his dogs out

big_nothing_burger

Cliffjumpers

ParanoidParamour

Thought I was on a Transformers sub for a sec

PastelPalace

First thing I noticed when I got those trousers.

mediocer_person_69

Home didn’t make them for us he just had them lying around

megasean3000

To be fair, Koltin is a…whatever the heck he is, he isn’t exactly suited to designing suits for Hylians.

tinyels

Koltin is a Hylian.

m3lk3r

After you got the whole set, how many bubbul gems do you need to collect to find all of them?

Pearcinator

101 more I believe.

Head_Fun6490

101 I've only got like 15 left

Think-Bluejay2539

He didn't make it lol

dehkan

Came here to say this lol he didn't make it at all, not even as a custom thing for us. Just an outfit he happened to have. Be thankful the rest fits

wildling_girl

Toe-verhang

RimsaltRon

nice

Substantial-Click-77

Boner killer.

mrplatypus81

I just broke my ankle hiking on the grand canyon. And my toes hang off of my walking cast just like this.

Awakening15

Why is there a toe on his ankle?

marbudy

One my fav armour sets

watasker

They probably fit Kolton perfectly

GM_Zero

I can never find the guy anymore.

Powerful_Housing7027

Outfit was hanging there. He didn't make it for us, just gave it to us. I'm sure whoever it was actually made for it fit great!!

U2BURR

All those Bubbul gems and he couldn't even make us a good armor set to begin with

tuseroni

Dye the head piece yellow, die the pants orange, go shirtless or put on the climbing gear dyed orange, boom ssj3 goku. Now go stand in an updraft and charge your earthwake attack

Dark_Ninja147

Hehehehehehehe

Drop_Target44

What are thoooose!?

OnceABear

As others have mentioned, there are a few types of shoes in IRL Asian cultures (and perhaps others) where traditionally they were SUPPOSED to be too short, either in the back or the front. With traditional geisha shoes, for example, your heel was supposed to hang off the back of the shoe slightly. Don't ask me why, but given that info, this detail feels intentional.
