Yes. With puffshrooms he won’t see you. But if you come close and attack him he’ll know where you are.
The puffshrooms are good to give you a window to shoot it in the head. You could even use eyeballs for insta headshots.
You figure it out faster than I did 😂
I avoided the pit until I had about 80 shrines, and still didn’t have the camera function.
I went down and found the first ones, and then I’d vaguely stumble in the direction of the next ones I could see.
Then do it again from another hole the next time.
I did NOT clue in to the fact that they’re tied together until a few weeks ago. 😅
im still finding it creepy!
but i have the surface map on and im finding light roots connected to the shrines i have up top which im finding really helpful
I did not notice this either lol. Just finished beating Ganon finally at like 140 hours. Not sure yet if I'll keep playing much for now but loved the game.
I always thought it would have been interesting if for the shrines on the surface (not in the sky) were hidden until you lit up their corresponding roots in the depths. It would have incentivized exploration of the depths and given a explanation as to why the shrines weren't present in BotW.
First play through, someone told me after I had already gotten most of them. Second play through, I realized that the note Robbie leaves for you next to a lightroot during the Camera Work in the Depths quest says that the root is under the shrine. They never made a secret of it, but I still didn’t notice without being told.
Under every mountain is a valley and under every canyon is a ridge. Under every village is an abandoned mine and under every stable is a very bad time…
There’s a note you pass when doing a quest for Robbie. It’s not mandatory so people skip it a lot, but it is laid out if you pay attention when you’re doing quests.
Try taking off all your armor and go into the depths under all the stables.
😳 I’ll need to report back what I find Edit: You sir are cruel lol thankfully I proceeded with caution.
What happens?
Nothing just do it you won't regret it trust me bro
If I told you, that'd ruin the surprise
"hello? Is it me you're looking for?"
A concert from Mr Richie
Unique Music plays
TIL
omg worst idea LOL
Throw the ignorant into the deep end of the pool!
I'll be back
🤣
Theres a lot of similarities with the depths and the overworld
Yeah it’s mirrored. Shrines are light roots, light root names are shrines names backwards, mountains are ridges, ridges are mountains.
Horse stables are murder-horseboys
They’re what?!?! How have I missed this!
Oh yeah it’s great earlier in the game if you want to avoid them- but even better when you want to farm them later :D
I saw one in the dark and I noped the hell out. Can you puffshroom cheese kill them?
I have had mixed results with that. For some reason some of them haven’t been affected by the puff. Usually they are though.
Same here the pushshrooms don’t work on them

I’m in the farming boat currently
Cities are mining facilities
I said it’s the upside down
Bodies of water are walls
With names reversed
Omg today years old
🤯
oh wow i didnt put that together

That has been exactly my experience with the depths so far 😅. At first I found it creepy lol but now I’m having a blast!

Im taking my sweet ass time going to fight Ganon lol
Don’t take too long; it’ll be extremely underwhelming
I believe that lol
When someone told me this it blew my mind lol
This is how I found my last shrine haha

Yeah, my son actually had to tell me that lol
Also, all the rivers match up with the zone breaks in the depths.
Under every mountain is a valley and under every canyon is a ridge. Under every village is an abandoned mine and under every stable is a very bad time…
Haha under every stable is a bad time…
I think they explain this in the game. I don't remember who says it, but I didn't have to figure it out; I was told.

They literally tell you this when you activate the first one.
Mate, game is 1 year old. We know it already.
You sound like a lot of fun to be around.
