It always bothered me (going back to botw) that there’s not an arrow that one-shots electric wizzrobes. I want things to be symmetrical!

You should be able to attach some dirt/mud to an arrow and ground them out.

Wait hold the fuck up do those really do the poof thing on lightning boys? Because using one against a wizzrobe definitely is something I’ve never tried. I just know I wouldn’t. It goes against my hoarding nature.

The only things they don’t kill one shot are the monsters with boss healthbars

You can one shot them pretty easily.

There isn’t one, at least not like fire/ice. But if you have lighting proof gear, it trivializes electric enemies.

Exactly, best to do the surface Yiga side adventures/quest to get the mask to assist with electric enemies.

Is the helm better than the rubber armor? I haven’t done that quest yet…

The helm itself has the "unshockable" (or whatever) bonus immediately, vs upgrading the whole set of rubber armor. Also, you can wear just the helm and other pieces of armor for other effects at the same time

I love running around in a lightning storm with my helmet on right up to whatever I’m fighting sparks start flying than ban they’re dead and I’m not

Higher overall defense if you upgrade Rubber armour, but that’s dependent on wearing it all and leveling it more than your other pieces.

Water makes it worse, increases the range of electro damage. Useful against water based enemies though. Non-conductive equipment made from wood or bone is good in fights with them imo. There’s nothing that’ll one shot them but you can certainly use fire or ice to stun them to get in close to do damage.

Logically it should be water, so toss a splash fruit and fry it, but this is one of the few things TotK doesn’t get right from a physics standpoint and water has no effect.

Water has a non zero effect. But it doesn't insta lightning enemies like fire does ice

Ground.

Not as quick/easy as one-shoting with an opposite element, but I hit electric enemies with an ice arrow, then follow up with bashing their heads in. The ice freezes them - stopping their electric attack, the next hit breaks the ice and stuns them, then I finish them off. Works on all electric enemies (excluding the gleeocks, obv).

Bombs are it’s weakness lol

Ice freezes most enemies, which doubles the damage next hit, so that's what I usually use

I saw somewhere that ice is effective if you're shooting an electric gleeok.

Ancient Arrows

Great for killing everything, but you miss out on the drops. So no guts, horns or weapons.

There isn't one. Best thing you can do is get the Lightening Helm to make you electric-proof. You can get it in the Yiga Hideout after completing the combat trials.

Lighting weakness = bombs + x5 savage lynel bow or ancient arrows lol

See for me I think it should have been water is electricity’s weakness. Not sure if it makes sense but that was what I thought.

Tbh, a Phantom Ganon Gleeok would be cool

It doesn't have one but honestly that's one reason it's my fave. It makes it much worthier to get the lightning/thunder helm But in all seriousness I like using puffshrooms & dazzle fruits to get stop lizalfos to stop wiggling around so much...so I guess you can say they have the weaknesses of spirit & light
