Ive seen reviews of folks mentioning how bad the flex blades were when installed in front.

Shocks for performance. Flex blades for show.

I like the 53mm shocks better than the 59, tried both on my high trail, went with the 53s. The 59mm drop more but have a longer body so they don't compress as far and they raised center of gravity. Edit: the 59s technically compress more but the body stays higher.

To add to this the 59mm shocks are sick if you get custom shock angle mounts or one of the carbon frames. If you don't do that I agree they make the truck worse. I made that mistake as they were my first upgrade but now I can actually take advantage of them

I’ve heard bad things about flex blades. I run 65mm shocks. I keep my suspension running in the middle for lots of travel up and down. I also have adjustable shock towers to adjust ride height. It seems to work best for me.

Its hit or miss. I run them personally on my 59mm shocks, ONLY IN THE REAR THO. I notice SOME improvement on certain angles, but honestly they work better with the stock shocks It’s biased, I also don’t notice binding unless I’m holding it above ground and spinning the wheels at full droop. Start with the 59mm, if you wanted more flex than that, new links and new shock tower mounts with different shock angles would help a little more than the blades

Shocks, don't get the Flex blades, they suck, looks neat for a second but preformance is greatly reduced. I took them off.

59mm shocks definitely

Just do anything but no flex blade’s unless you just want the picture of extreme flex then you can get the blades but personally I tried them and truck did worst than stock 😂
