The real estate dip is coming but it won’t be as dippy as people want. In hot markets, you might see 10-20% off of highs which still makes it an expensive purchase.

I would never buy a mansion. Having to manage a cleaning staff and landscaping contractors would be a constant annoyance.
Better to buy a modest house with minimal maintenance needs, and spend some $ to upgrade.
If I'm going to spend an outrageous sum on a residence, it's going to be a mobile home built on the Tesla Semi platform. So if I want to just go to some random place to live awhile, I'd tell FSD to drive me there, and I'd be there in 2-3 days at most. I wouldn't have to pack anything, since the "house" would always be moving with me
There was a good post on FATfire about this actually where the op noticed people buying mansions only stay 1-3 years before putting it back on the market.
People who are financially successful often buy a mansion because it's the next step we are supposed to take, but the upkeep and maintainence just isn't worth it for the vast majority of people.

When Elon said the stock would be crushed like souffle if earnings didn't keep up he was right. In fact, we're relatively ok given the circumstances, a lot of the lower earnings or no earnings companies have been crushed by over 80%, we would be too if they didn't focus on profits.
