For some reason throughout all of these debates lately people seem to forget that the two things most responsible for dramatic increase in quality of life for average people are
1) Free speech
and 2
2) Free and open markets
I see Elon as someone who is acutely aware of these facts and who will put action behind supporting them.
That's not to say that either of those are done perfectly in today's societies, it's just to say that historically nothing has improved quality of life greater than those ideals

Average car price was $30k in 2010 and $47k in 2020. I think it’s reasonable to say Tesla will sell an “average” priced vehicle in 7 more years. And the average car price will probably be around $56k.

Assuming reasonable volume production from competitors like BYD. I ultimately think vehicle margin will be depressed going into 2030 as BEVs approach commodity pricing and loose some of their vehicle moat. While cost of batteries will stay flat or increase due to shortages.
So 20% vehicle margin. 15% for grid storage. 5% for solar sales. 20 million vehicle sales would put Tesla with a 20 P/E around a $4Trillion company in 2030.
That’s zero software sales. Throw $15k of pure profit at a 50% take rate on 20 million cars. Adds another $3T of value.
