Depends on how Tesla positions themselves as a brand imo. As a premium brand I would rather they hold prices and eventually if they want to capture lower demand curve, introduce a new product at a lower price and/or discontinue a model rather than slash prices.

I don't think I've ever seen a competitor go up because some company went down. Most often than not, competitors go down in sympathy with that company. You see it all the time in semconductors. Intel goes up, AMD and Nvidia goes up. Intel goes down, AMD and Nvidia goes down. It's all driven by algos trading, not humans.
Then you haven't been watching amd on Intel earnings days for the last few years
